I bought one about 4-5 months ago and it was honestly one of the best purchases I have ever made. Such an awesome tone, but that's to be expected from them. I thoroughly recommend that you make the investment.
Isn't it great when you have a talented musician doing gear demos? And isn't it great and the gear is also great? Add a very professional, unobtrusive interviewer and you have one of the best gear demos in RUclips ever!
Great sounding amp. Both clean and dirty. Always liked Orange Amps, and I still regret not buying one at a shop in San Francisco about 20 years ago (a late 60s model) for 500 bucks, but the guy couldn't get it to work and I didn't have time to wait....
Doug should release a line of effects pedals...Doppler Effects. Based on his demeanor, I'm guessing the first one would have a small footprint and be called the Happy Pill.
Im the exact opposite killer shark, I love the ballsy clean but powerful, breathing tone although Im not a big fan of the amp's dirty channel cranked. If I had one of these, I would employ my vht or mxr overdrive/distortion pedals for my ballsy tone.
yeah, you're right; these amps are awesome. 2 problems with (factory)ibanez: their only factory pickup that sounds good is the ib4, and they need an original edge or lo-pro edge trem. fix those, and it's hard to find a guitar that plays better... just sayin'
Well this is out of my league. But I do have a Orange Crush 15R and find it to be somewhat dirty in even its cleanest settings. Definitely not something to plug an acoustic bridge pizzo pickup into.

Good to hear a good demo of Orange amps with some clean sounds. Seems like whenever someone does a demo they focus VERY heavily on the gain side.
I have the 50 watt version and it sounds pretty tight with a 335
He's just so happy to be at NAMM and to be demoing these amps! He loves it!
Wow! Great amp both clean and distorted!
Great demonstrator, great interviewer and some sweet amps. Premier continues to own GuitarWorld.
I think it's really good that the guy demonstrating the amp is able to get exited about it, rather than just stand there emotionless.
god damn the OR100 sounds awesome
This dude is awesome. These are the kind of people I love to jam with.. just fun as hell!

I do like the high gain tone of these.
Used that first one with my electric violin once, was such a rockin' tone!
As much i'd agree, he really does know how to get a good tone with that ibanez.
good gig + coffee + a shot of espresso... a good demo.
This guy always has a smile on his face like he's waiting to tell you that you've just won the lottery.
great sounding amps. impressive tone versatility.
awesome, thx for all these vids from namm!!
Great coverage! Loving the Custom Shop 50... Was waiting for a price-tag though...
I like his taste in guitars. Simple, effective. Ergonomic. Love those ibanez. Oh yeah orange are cool too!
He's happy of course, this amps are awesome. Even when played with an Ibanez.
Yeah, I like the OR 15. Seems pretty cool.

Now this is how you do a Namm video!
Kickass guitar and player. And an awesome amp as well.
If you get a chance to chat with Doug Doppler take it. He is one of the nicest people on the planet.
Now I like that creamy tone he gets when he hits the switch in back. We all wanna sound like early ac/dc! :)
I've never owned an Orange amp of any kind, But I'm thinking it should be my next amp purchase.
Nice amp, sounds clean sounds like a fender but dirty channel is awesome orange tone. I like it,!!
Agree - awesome coverage as ever.
no, he is just happy to see Rebecca :))
Yes please! Thank you.
orange is such a happy color! you cant help but stretch your smile muscles. well i can but thats just me haha
Custom 50 is awesome! I'd take either one
I'm with you JackFuzz73, I don't see what everyone sees in her...she's just...PLAIN .
I'm in love with the Amp and the girl. Both are schmook'n !
Just got to love the guy!
Dude, I didn't realize that it was a gain monster. It surprised me when he changed it to channel two.
dude loves his job! I like it
Bad ass amps, and no tone knob on your guitar?
interesting detail...
Love Orange
damn that lead channel sounds awesome
Seem very versatile!
John Frangi, no, definitely not made in China. Handwired in the UK.
3:15 love that tone!
damn the guy seems really excited about the amps :)
And the deluxe version would be the Happy Pill More.
Very versatile amps.
some love for the Ibanez S series!
Luv Orange Amps
OR100 is freaking awesome
I want one of those Orange cables.
These amps have gobs of character. If you want generic, buy a Marshall.
She's so cute:-) Good work Becc.
Why did they discontinue the OR100 and OR50? Why Orange? Why?

sounds killer!
Happy people have always bothered me. I do like orange amps
its probably just one of those things that you feel the difference with at your finger tips
long live the 80's ! :D
That's Doug Doppler? Couldn't recognize him at all with that long hair
seems like a nice dude.
I must have been standing too close to my amp, because I couldn't hear a difference between no boost and boost, on the clean channel.
I would like to hear this amp with a Gibson Les Paul or a Fender Tele.
What analogue reverb pedal would be best for this amp?
Wich Amp has got more Gain? The Rockerverb or the OR100 ?
thats because of the compressor on the camera i think
Did Orange really say "hey - we want to sell these. Make sure we rock em' with a sweet s470".
That guy is way too happy. Get him a tree to hug.
i love Rebecca Dirks
I remember that dude demo-ing a Dumble amp....
great tone
The OR 50 has much more gain ,and an extra 12AX7.
can't blame him
I fail to see her hotness . . . however, that CS 50 amp sounds pretty good !
Awesooooooomee.!!
"Fuck!" (the word when i hear the lead channel)
3:52 Watch out Rebecca!
Nice guy!
Whenever I see Rebbecca Dirks and realize that I'm far away from her, I get the blues!
he's just as orange as the amps XD
why are all these demos done in classic or blues?
amazin tone
no reverb?????
Everytime Rebecca says her name i hear: Rebecca Derps.
I remember that dude demo-ing Line 6 amps... WTF??!!
with IBANEZ?????? Are u sure?
maybe he seen a double rainbow soon before this?
NAMM is like COMICON, but everybody is cool
Maybe just the interviewing part. lol
I am just jealous I can't have that job.
The guy is more interested in Dirks than the amps, lol
1:37 - "Gay boost footswitch" Hmmm not sure that will be a popular feature.
Made in China ?
Can hear no difference with the "gain" switch.
Way to be original.
really? :P I hadn't noticed that before
Wow, that does not sound like a typical orange amp
Get some better speakers; I can easily hear the boosted high end gain.
