🧵 Is it a coincidence that all code is really just a bunch of text, which can be represented as a string, which is made up of smaller strings... I think not.
🤓 TypeScript has a particularly interesting (and powerful!) way of expressing and manipulating ""strings"". In this workshop we will explore:
Basics of the type system looking at string primitive and string constant types.
Building up complex types, using string unions and intrinsic string types
Using generics to manipulate strings with mapping types and conditional types, and template string types.
