I absolutely love the transitions between maps. One of the best edits I've seen. I don't even have the barest idea of how you do the vast majority of the stuff in this video...
I like that they didn't over-do the map design changes and instead made them all "lore" friendly. Especially the Dust 2 one.

Wow, this is truly impressive... Medusa is right, it's scary how good some editors became in this community. Open doors in the movie business, vfx/postprod, if you ask me...
trust me they will only get an opportunity like that if they would model and animate all by hand. Since they only imported the animations and stuff they are really no use in the higher class because they can't just simply import animations. So rethink all that :) Since the Movie Industry is on a whole new level then this. I am not saying they have no talent or something like that :)
definately, i get your point. I am not saying they are fully capable of everything to work in post, but they already have good basics to rely on. If they'd would have the right connections that some might have, it would be easy for them to climb the ladder step by step ;) I know the movie industry, so i am talking from experience. That's all I'm sayin'. :)
