Poor Genki is always getting attacked by Gentaro's playful antics. She understands and is so patient. She makes me laugh though when she gives him the backhand letting him know that he's annoying her. Such a sweet family.

So incredibly patient and well mannered. For the most part male gorillas are not a danger to their own young. Male chimpanzees on the other hand, and hell even other female chimpanzees are a threat to baby chimps.

Just wish they had more freedom & privacy to just be alone without people gawking at them all the time. I think they yearn for that like we as human value our privacy & freedom🤔

Kintaro was so small. How much did he weigh when he was born? Genki is such a good mother, and looks so contented when sitting holding her baby. Gentaro has grown a lot in the past 2 years as well. And I love how gentle Momo is when he interacts with Gentaro (9:37).
I feel like they need more privacy. Not only for intimacy but just so they can relax and not feel like their a science experiment which I sense they some what realize.
Where have you been hiding this footage? The father, oldest son moments are absolutely precious. I've also never seen footage of Dad so interested in the baby. It certainly changes my impression of big daddy, not that I have a bad impression, just never seen this behavior in all the time I've been following the family. ❤️🌵☀️⛈️🌈☮️🦍
