I have this model in the same colours, it is a joy to drive, light inside and very easy to live with. For a guy who always had manual gears it was easy to adapt. They didn't seem to mention the other button on the boot lid, if you press that one you can then pick things up and walk away and the lid closes once you are 2 metres from the car. The decent control prevents you from going overspeed when on cruise on all but the very steep hills, very useful !
Those are not the Magic seats.. For those you lift the front edge of the rear seats. Also you are not supposed to drive with the transmission permanently in B. That is the engine braking mode for when going down steep hills, etc. No wonder it was noisy!
Thanks for watching, the Honda HR-V does indeed have Magic Seats. You are correct about the B mode, it is not supposed to be used all the time. However, the HR-V was noisy when accelerating regardless of being in D or B.
Correction: In the video it was mentioned that the engine was a 1.8-litre, it is in fact a 1.5-litre unit.
And... No CVT either, it's mainly electric, engine is, outside the 55~65 mph range, purely a generator

They are magic seats, just poorly demonstrated.
I am consider the HRV and the new Lexus LBX.
Driving with your hand on the gearstick is a bad habit. Nice car.
As it is automatic that won't affect it, but it will stop the manual gear change reaction that people have with autos !
