I ordered during the free gift I received sesame street as free gift. I was happy I grew up on sesame street didn't buy when it was released. The one you shared I wasn't familiar with either. I do love your fall painting you shared. 💕
I love Aah Real Monsters! I have the first one and i want that one as well. I loved nickelodeon growing up. It was in the 90's. Yes the characters were made to be ugly and scary, bc their job was to scare children. lol, it was a popular cartoon among the nickelodeon shows back then. I think that is what i liked about that cartoon that the characters were so different and also the premise of the show. I had good times watching that show, and yes the characters are ugly. If you notice the back ground, the monsters lived in the sewage and would go to the landfills to eat garbage, lol. It's not for everyone, this is a kit that would be liked by fans of the nickelodeon shows. It is accurate to say that it's an ugly kit, but very well rendered. lol
I will definitely have to google this and find an episode to watch 📺 thanks for some info. on the critters. This kit is actually growing on me and I look forward to the event next year so I can work on it. 😄😊

I don't have little kids anymore or little grandkids but it'll be fun to do anyways. The Pumpkin Herder is really nice! I know DAC knows what they're doing or they wouldn't stay in business. However, that being said....they roll out cartoons week after week and from a buyers perspective...they sit there and sit there and simply don't sell, so neither I or others I know that buy from DAC can figure it out. It's gotten so bad that they now have to give them away. Why???? Why not just quit selling them. It's disappointing to the majority of us who are waiting for awesome paintings. It's nice that there is something for everyone, but clearly, cartoons do not sell. It's disappointing to the majority when we're waiting for awesome restocks or reveals by cool artists that everyone loves. Wish I could understand it. Hope I don't get booted from DAC for saying this. I just would like to know what their business model is regarding these things.
I love the cartoon kits, and so does a lot of customers. Why cant DAC cater to everyone? DAC still produces landscapes and stuff like that. Not trying to be rude or anything, but there is a customer base for these types of kits, and they were voted in by customers to be produced as diamond paintings. Im sure they have a certain amount of stock they have for these cartoon releases, etc. Im sure they make it work and everyone has the chance to buy a kit that they would enjoy doing. They havent been rolling cartoons that often. But, id say that fantasy genre and cartoon images are two very different things. But, they have rolled tons of chuck pinson and things like recently as well. I'd agree to say that its good to have a mix of things on weekend releases. These cartoons kits, like the one in the video, are released during mid-week as special releases. Again, i think that works out for everyone in that way.
I miss their classy, beautiful, and cute canvases. Besides the cartoons, they’re been heavily dark, weird, creepy canvasses, with girls with bleeding eyes and lots of canvases with demonic symbols, etc. I’ve been looking at Dreamer Designs and Diamond Art Dreams, and they both have much more appealing canvases for me lately. I love DAC, but more and more there’s been nothing I want to buy.

I did want to get the Blues Clues one and Inspector Gadget but haven't yet, Not sure will but those are some that I'd like to get. The last few restocks I haven't been too interested in thank goodness so that is a plus with all the cartoony ones. I am not into the dark art either so those are a quick pass. I tend to get more kits of the fantasy genre, like Roy Trins, Yuumei art, chrissa bug, ivy dolormore, etc. Every now and then its nice to get a smaller kit that's a blast from the past like Ahh! Real Monsters, the strawberry shortcake, rugrats, the flintstones, garfield, loney tunes etc. Now, I wish they would come out with some Peanuts, those would fly off the shelves. Also, they might be withholding more popular kits since its getting closer to the holidays. To me it seems they are rolling these out in the summer, since its a slower time for arts and craft companies because customers have less time to focus on the crafts with schools being out. Buying tends to increase in the fall and winter, so lets hope for some pretty kits coming our way. 🤔
