      When you have your ears covered and are speaking into a microphone you notice how loud you get or how much the mic picks up that you self correct your tone .     Shane hit him with the best shot Floyd has ever taken, and then Floyd put on an absolute clinic from the 3rd round on. Shane should've put him away in the 2nd but it just shows how great Floyd is that not only did he not drop but put a whoopin on Shane after 🤣🤣🤣

      ​@@AjaxJG agreed. I don't know why people give Conor a lot of props on that fight. Floyd was 40 years old which is old in fighting terms and basically retired. I felt like he wasn't even trying in the first few rounds then just put his foot on the gas in the last few rounds to get Conor out of there.
      Also, Floyd typically doesn't use his shoulder roll defense against southpaws since its not as effective. He usually uses a high guard like when he fought Zab, Robert Guerrero,

      Pretty much all of Mayweathers opponents were at the end of their careers even Gatti's. Gatti had already gone through multiple loss streaks when he fought Floyd.. Andre Berto, Marcos Maidana, Robert Guerrero, Judah all were at the end of their careers and with recent L's on their record. This fight was the begining of Mayweather's prime. He was amazing, but he's never fought a boxer that was young in their prime. You could argue Canelo was the only one that was impressive to me. Just saying. Mosley, Pacquiao.. All of Floyds opponents were past their prime except Canelo. He avoided young strong opponents.

    Floyd is the best defensive boxer ever. Nearly impossible to catch flush, his father developed that shoulder roll. The sweet science. Floyd’s style is extremely effective but not exciting to watch. We want KO’s not decisions. Mike Tyson is king of our era.

Did he give him a healthy rematch? Nah. Just like Marquez, Manny fuked him up a few times and gave him as many rematches as he wanted till he finally lost.     One of Floyd’s best attributes is that he wants to entertain and he knows the business of boxing. He controlled and prolonged quite a few of his fights so that you get the notion that his opponent was better than they were. He knew Conor has a whole country behind him, and that can equal to a lot of money if he can convince the audience that their fighter has a chance. He wants you to get your money’s worth. Conor did well but he had no chance at all.

    Mayweather is almost 2 years older than Pacquiao.
    Hard to say he intentionally stalled the fight when he’s the older man.
    If anything, he wanted to make sure Pacquiao wasn’t still on PEDs as he had been.

      Yep, there's this false narrative out there that Mayweather bottled that fight. He required Olympic style drug testing, which is what he does with all of his fights. Pacquiao wouldn't agree to it. But, as with so many other things, the media gets to control the prevailing narrative.

      Floyd lost 8 times in the amateur and lost to a Sliver medalist in the Olympic before he started to cherry picked. Floyd never lost as a professional which extremely easy to do since every other boxer today is undefeated. He can do stuff back then since he was the only one doing back then. Floyd also ducked Manny Pacquiao, Margarito, and GGG. Especially Manny Pacquiao. Floyd fool a lot people he is a lot better than he is. Amateur Floyd is the true Floyd where he lost about 10% of his fights. Do you really believe he will still be undefeated (not really since he lost in the amateur and the Olympics) at age 50 without hand picking his opponents?     truth is Manny was juiced,had his opponents weight drained to near death at "catchweight"hydration clauses,ring size,gloves...all the cards stacked,Mayweather got them all first,with none of these restrictions and testing.
