Quick story about my experience with the Northern Raza. I was at a Rams game at Sofi Stadium last season, the Rams were playing the 49ers that game. My homies and I were walking around the tailgate area, we were chopping it up with a couple of individuals that were 49er fans. After introducing ourselves, we found out these cats were Northerners. There was no issues with hem at all. As a matter of fact, they ended up being cool people. Its sad that these rappers are a bunch of loose cannons and are representing our people in a bad light. There are bigger and more serious problems we should be worrying about, like Russia having their Naval fleet off our coast.
Rappers been doing that for decades. As stupid as it is, that BS is what people wanna hear. Unfortunately, these youngsters don't seem to remember what has happened to a lot rappers that were dissing others.

Most issues are individual based not race or gang, etc. Meanwhile in Colombia they kill eachother over their sports teams. We had to buy the home teams merch to go to the game. No visiting fans allowed at soccer games in Colombia. Seen a dude get jumped by 15 Colombians because they took his shirt off and saw a tattoo of the other team.

I never understood why these rappers do gang shit like that. Their music will never go mainstream. No promotion, commercials just local filming in front of liquor stores throwing gang signs. No reputable company will promote that and the normal public gets turned off by that. Its sad these youngsters limit their talent to local sales. No body knows them outside Cali because of that.

I grew up in a all southern neighborhood in San Jose California believe it or not but I used to sit back all 14 of us and trip out and wonder if we would have got along what would have been like how much power we would’ve had instead of divided we would’ve been unitedjust thinking out the box

My Uncle did 13 years in Florence CO, got out when I was 18 and changed my life with the knowledge he had, my uncles first time in prison was during the Santa Fe NM prison riot, those stories I'll never forget

Rap music is dope and the hip hop culture and also there is a lot of Murder Music out there which can mold our thoughts - anything you listen to alot can have a impact on ourlives, that's with all kinds of music, movies, books etc.
I remember working at Pelican Bay down in the shu the control cop let two north and two south out in the same pod for showers they came to the door and asked me for there razors with a smirk on there face I asked them to take it home and they did with no altercations. When I went in to count one of the heavies told me because of the respect I show them they respected me so the entire unit when I was working was not to cause problems.
The raza has always been recognized for being cultured and artistic, this is something that has existed before any of us were born. Although I understand the differences between the various artist, but those artistic differences can’t be the reason for undermining the greater good of the raza. It’s hard for me to believe that the powers that be have not stepped in to put a stop to it. I get that North & South rappers are beefing, but there’s a big difference between being on a pinta yard and meeting an enemy on the battlefield, and the rapper who try’s to slay an enemy over the airwaves with lyrics. Gang banging on social media doesn’t represent the politics that takes place behind the walls. That’s real truth.

That’s your experience on a level 4, my experience on a level 2 was different, level 2’s there’s still a little gang banging and car tripping and really no one to answer to unless you wanna be one of them Level 2 killers who try to bring politics to the yard. Southerners trip on the Northerners and things are way different but things can still get dangerous. Things get dangerous on the streets.
I'd like to see Northern Yards, equal to the South. If there's 100 S. Then there's 100 N. Personally I think the S. Is too comfortable with always having numbers & It's been said that they will only allow so many Northerns in the yard or they will get off. Yes, we ordered books. The Oklahoma Press and San Diego St. were two good sources for books. I had the dictionary, as well as a couple nahuatl grammar books.
