I agree too. I went there as a kid, but nothing beats the old Toys “R” Us to be honest, but still, this is a good thing.

You’re absolutely right!! The first one was my all time favorite! The 2017 one wasn’t too bad either… The Macy’s one - not my favorite by far lol

I love it! I would have loved it more if it wasn't just a section of a floor, 3 sections of floors would be better, more toys and the babies r us would be included, such an nice comeback!

I think this is awesome!! I haven’t been to this one yet, but hopefully I could see this one of these days! At least this video is showing what’s in there! I miss going to Toys R Us, especially since the one I went to as a kid unfortunately died out and is completely abandoned or something.

Maybe it’s own floor for a major Toys R Us like this one (or it’s own standalone store)! I don’t know how smart that would be financially though since I’m not a smart businessman lol
I was a near Toy R US kid. I live near enough to Utica I went to the area and saw a Toy R US/Kids R US when I was an old kid 9-11, preadolescent age. If 8 is young child, then over 8 but still a kid's an old kid. Late '90s or early 2000s for time I was that.

Doesn’t compare to the big Toys R Us with the Big Ferris Wheel and the T Rex. I will miss that Toys R Us very much.

not really it carries the brand name but its it lacks toy brands that you see in toys rus store . specially this days children seems are more declining in getting toys after a certain age the incline towards electronics like tablets phones and video games. so this store toys rus should niche to toward older audience . this audience collects brands like neca , hasbro marvel legends , transformers , super 7 , flametoys , mafex , mezco , threezero , hottoys , and other brands that create higher end actionfigure collectibles.

Haha I agree with you! I’ve seen a small Toys R Us section inside of a few Macy’s in Long Island and Yonkers (both in NY). Hopefully they’ll start getting them into more and more Macy’s nationwide!
I could fly up to new York just to visit Macy's from 3 to 4 hours and get on the plane and fly back to atlanta.

Sucks… old toys r us nyc was best than Macy’s because old toys r us had 4 floors and a Ferris wheel inside at time square street. It was amazing
Yeah it was beautiful!! That old store had a whole section for video games, Legos, a big Barbie house upstairs… It was massive and I loved it as a kid! Especially the Ferris Wheel! Hopefully they make a toy store like that someday!

I definitely see what you’re saying and somewhat agree with you. Luckily, my daughter still likes her toys and dolls. Once she gets older though, I’m sure she’ll like the electronics and video games more! Very interested to see how this new Toys R Us idea works with Macy’s!
