The last time I was on the train to my mom's and the travel assistance person forget that I was on the train
As a teen in the 80s, I would go to Coventry from Watford Junction on the Train. Even paying a normal ticket price, I would be put in the Guards Van along with the mail and bikes. During winter it wasn't heated and on one occasion, like you, they didn't come with the ramp... So, I ended up going all the way to Kings Cross!!!
I'm glad things have improved!!!
