Her voice is out of this world, but, damn, she doesn't even have to sing!! The moment she came in, I lost it, my mind my soul was in outer space and my body was shivering, it's insane.
I know exactly what you mean. There is something so majestic and special about Floor´s stage presence and inner energy that she radiates. I don´t know how it happens but she has given me tears by just seeing her walk to the microphone... It´s a part of the magic of Nightwish. They are so amazing!

The thing to remember here is, this is a festival crowd, made up of fans of many bands, not just Nightwish. The massive crowd roar towards the end shows what a truly powerful moment that was. I'm sure they gained many new fans that night!

Welcome to NW starr larh, you just met our 6ft Queen Floor Jansen, frontwoman of the Finnish Symphonic Metalband Nightwish. Remember that she only was 10 months with the band at that time. 10 months earlier she came as a substitute for Anette Olzon (previous singer), who became sick in the middle of a world tour and had to go too the hospital. NW called Floor and she said yes. She had to learn the setlist in 48 hours and did this on the flight from the Netherlands to Salt Lake City where she joined the band on their way to Seattle for the next concert. The last part of the song the previous singer(s) didn't do, so she made it her own, with as result 10 months later at Wacken 2013 this Masterpiece. Greetings from the Netherlands South division

welcome to the fantastic symphonic metal universe of Nightwish Band, their live performances are some of the things that come so close to epic that they get to be mythical and of course Floor Jansen, queen of the stage and goddess of music, she can sing anything in any musical style she wants (WARNING! her voice, her stage presence, her charisma, in one word: her "spell" is highly addictive).
this concert (wacken 2013) is incredibly epic and deserves to be watched and reacted entirely, song by song, in particular I suggest these three songs: "song of myself", "storytime" and "ever dream"
this performance of "ghost love score" is one of the three best performances of the nightwish band, together with "the poet and the pendulum" from 2015 concert at the london wembley arena and "the greatest show on earth" from 2015 concert in tampere - finland (actually there is a fourth best performance: "dead boy's poem" from the 2018 concert in buenos aires).

She replaced the 2nd singer midway the US leg of their World Tour. This was the first time that most of the crowd got to see and hear her for the first time. She had them in the palm of her hands within seconds. This concert is one of the best. Gabriel Bardac wiil soon be here and he will provide you with a lot of info and song suggestions. Nightwish is a band from Finland. Found in 1995. Floor is the 3rd female singer of this band.
If You want hear other song, try "Phantom of the Opera" from "End of an Era" concert Helsinki 2005 (with 1st female singer Tarja pren. Tarya, for me best concert ever) and "The Islander" from Tampere concert 2020 if I remember corectly.

Nightwish is Finnish gift to symphonic metal music and Floor Jansen (3rd female singer and the current one) is 'God's' gift to Nightwish 🤘I absolutely love Nightwish songs. Tuomas Holopainen (keyboards) writes and composes these beautiful songs. He's called metal Mozart ❤ And I love that Jukka's drumming and his style 🥁😎 though he had to step aside because of his imsomnia at that time. The current drummer is Kai Hahto, Jukka's good friend.

Wacken 13 GLS was my first encounter with Nightwish and instant resultant Flooradulation. One of the sad things in life is that you can only see/listen to FloorGLS for the first time once. The good thing is that you can see/listen over and over again, Wacken and any number of concerts up to the present day. You also have the joy of watching so many people reacting to GLS. Thank you so much, girls, for giving me this fix of what must surely now be the Nightwish anthem. Your eyes so wide open at ‘we used to swim’ made Floorgasm at ‘the note’ inevitable. You did not disappoint. Keep on board for the Nightwish journey, with all three singers, Tarja (whose song GLS was originally), Anette and Floor, it’s one hell of a ride.

They truly are my favorite band of all time. Their music is subliminally beautiful and well written. One of the beat things with them is that every song is quite different. So I highly recommend checking out more of their music. There will be a man called Gabriel that will reach out to you in the comments, giving you all the info on the band and a list of songs that you can check out. Follow that list and you will have a hell of a ride ahead of you.
I saw this song performed a couple of weeks ago in Amsterdam. If you think this was great than you should see and hear them live. It’s an experience that cannot be accurately described. But it was by far the beat concert I’ve ever been on. And that note at the end is unreal to hear live. Her voice is truly a force of nature!

Glad you decided to react to this band..Welcome to Symphonic Metal.this is with their 3rd singer Floor Jansen,a 6’1” Dutch vocal beast who’s had classical training and been with the band since 2012.They’re definitely a band that are better live,their studio stuff is good but it’s their live performances where they shine…they go from operatic though to rock,folk,Celtic and on to thrash and everything in between,hope you decide to dip your toe into some more.
If you decide to react to some more NightWish then Gabriel’s list is the best option to choose from as all his links have all great audio quality and are from the best concerts performance wise😊👍
