So it was supposed to be US$12M in stocks not cash 2) It looks like the his business manager and financial advisor wrote fake requests of liquidation and transfers. 3) Bolt was not a signatory on the account. The money was under the name of a company, whom Bolt's business manager had responsibilities for. 4) The brokerage is being investigated for their lack of compliance. The way the monies were taken without proper compliance measures being kept. 5) the government is being investigated because the company was flagged for numerous compliance breaches for the last 10 years and the matter was never made public.
Don't put that shit on the government. It's private sector. Please do you're research before you speak. And it was an investment firm. It wasn't liquid cash.
Believe it or not this is very common in Jamaica. I have had relatives in which this has happened to and the government is aware of the problem. This is an opportunity however, for EYL to offer some solutions for him rebuild. The information is there. The Network is there. He is still famous, relevant and valuable. How much more impactful would it be internationally if EYL helped Usain Bolt in his likeness achieve the ultimate comeback. Just something to think about.

Cold storage wallets is less susceptible to hacks but is not bullet proof just makes it a little more difficult. Crypto currency/blockchain is the way forward only if decentralised the other way I.e centralised will be worse than fiat currency. Which way it will go. Time will tell

Bolt is not financially savvy to handle it… he trust the advice he got and it cost him millions) just got finessed and the other folks too. When Jamaica approached the IMF a few years ago for a loan. The IMF comment was you could ask three business men with accounts in the US of Jamaica for that same loan… That said it all. Sad to see that happen to him and the others along with him.
