Anyway, Cephalectomy's "An Epitaph to Tranquility" is an excellent and unique Canadian technical deathgrind album, available for free download from the band's own website. Whitechapel's first album stretches vaguely into the realms of cookie-cutter deathcore, but Phil's lyrical and vocal talent shines through on this album. Look up the songs "Articulo Mortis", "The Somatic Defilement" and "Devirgination Studies".
Anders and Corey are both good..i mean Anders was better at songs like gently..i mean personally i think they are both good and if anders had stayed SlipKnot would have a different fan base and i'd still be one of their fans.. :) we should all just love The 'Knot .. Maggot 4 life!

You missed out "Happy Camper" by SYL. Devin hits an A#6 in that song. Also, ANYTHING from Cryptopsy's first two albums, not just Phobophile. Check out "Benedictine Convulsions" and "Abigor". Also, I would give TheRandomBoxSlayer what he said about Whitechapel. He named a song from the first album, which is actually pretty decent. It rips the shit out of standard chug-a-lug deathcore by any means. Plus, try Wormed, Cephalectomy and Fleshgod Apocalypse. All great bands.
@ Borkoroth. Slipknot could have become famous with Anders...they would just be considered a different genre than the Slipknot of today....So I think both Anders and Corey are good..just some of Anders versions pwn Corey's...
@Bassbait First of all, this is an EP/Demo, Paul and Clown have said in interviews that when they made this album they were trying out different sounds to see where they wanted it to go from there, and they wanted to go fore a more straightforward metal approach. Plus, Anders wasn't bad but anyone with musical knowledge can see that Corey is by FAR a superior vocalist, he can scream, growl, and sing, and pop metal?!, they have made some of the heaviest songs, listen to iowa dude.

I agree somewhat. I liked their MFKR music better than some of the later stuff, but Corey Taylor vocals are WAY better than Anders. Corey has such a diverse vocal range. All Anders does is grunt.
i prefer anders colsefini to corey taylor to be honest i grew up with crowz and mfkr i do like the new slipknot 3rd fav album is iowa . stay fuckin sic
