Couple extra things to note
1: It's not an infrared detector, you can confirm this by looking through it and pressing buttons on your tv remote (if it uses infrared of course). In fact, it can't explicitly identify hidden cams, it just helps reflect off camera lenses.
2: For the lens finder, you can set the led's to pulse which I personally prefer, by holding the 'GS' button down once the led's are on, with 5 different pulse settings accordingly.
3: There's also a vibrate option instead of that screaming tone. Once the unit is on, simply press the 'MS' button. Crank it up to test it to see which mode is on.
Why do you prefer the pulse

didnt know number 3. thank you
@@austinpratt9235 I know this is old but just in case someone else wants to know when it pulses as the lights shut off the camera lens glare should go away as well and then once the light comes on it should reflect again so it helps in identifying it.
Heads up whoever is looking to buy: the newer model K99 does come with an actual IR detector on the back. More effective at detecting hardwired cameras by turning the lights out and using IR instead of RF detector.
Great, informative little video. Many thanks 👍
02:40 I never would have even noticed that phone was there if that device didn't beep.✊😁
Excellent video man! I wish you did all review videos, shit you were clear and thorough! Great job...
Thanks for the clarifications
Good to know...
Thanks!
I've got one but wasn't sure how to use it even though I followed the instructions. Thanks for walking me through it!!
Cheers 👍👌🍻
Hey did you like it? Did you find any cameras?
@@Dnimety Yea, both camera's and audio bugs!!!
I appreciate your help
Very helpful and informative, thank you.
I can't get mine to work to detect anything. If yours is really working like you show I better give it another try. By the way, the beeps are so loud compared to your voice. I had to keep moving the volume back and forth so I don't blast my ears and then can hear you whispering. Thanks for doing this though.
Ty so much for this video! I bought one of these because i do home health for a living and I thought that the older son or father or some one had put a camera (other than the ones they told us about) in the bathroom and so I wanted to know. But i couldn't figure out how to use it. I thought I did but I wasn't sure. Turns out I was using it correctly, thankfully. But it's still nice to have confirmation. And frankly I don't use it because i wasn't sure. But now i will. I travel several times a year and work in ppl's homes so i think I'll like having this toy
was there a camera?
RF GS bug detector.
4:46 It's not an infrared detector. The LEDs simply reflect back from the smooth surface of the camera lens.
on new cameras it shows the lens. new cameras dont have infared like old one, but this still sees it.
I bought one from Wal mart it only detects hidden camera i dont think it will detect hidden microphone. I visited San Antonio Tx i was there for 4 months to be exact. The maintenance man had put a sewer line inspection camera on my vent. I got a ladder and i saw it and i pulled that shit and it detached from his phone. That SOB has been spying on me thru the vent. I had broke my lease because of this. Ladies this is a true story. I bought this gadget detector it only works on hidden cameras. Maybe it is not working for hidden microphone maybe there wasn’t any microphone inside my apartment. Huge lawsuit. I love my K18 detector.
Infinity Montgomery WOW. What’s a sewer line detection camera. And how does it work? Was he able to view footage of you in your home remotely and/or live? Or was it something he had to keep returning to to remove a SD card or something?
@@ishtlutz1261 that's a creepy ass series of questions...
I had one given to me my sister found it in an a storage unit she bought, and didn't know what it was, but knew I collect all kinds of tech(I have 3 different Geiger counters, a wooden scanner/printer, a model 4 Tandy TRS-80 to name a few.) And while it may not detect speakers, it does detect wireless communication, turn the dial a little over halfway(one solid green bar should be lit.) and make a phone call on your cell near it, it should go off(like in the video). An emf detector should detect active mics, not 100% sure. I think might test it out(I have 2 emf detectors, and you can turn your phone into a EMF detector with an app, how well that works, never really tried to figure out, but be careful some are safe others may be full of malware. And yes I would recommend women, or anyone concerned with privacy should get one. Specially if moving into a new place, staying at a hotel motel or air B&B or regular B&B or if their landlord or neighbor seems creepy to get one.
We get it dude, it beePS!
right? so annoying haha
It looks like you have to get pretty close to the source for it to go off… Plus I couldn’t really tell the difference between the camera with the infrared on or off… In the ad it looks like it makes it shine really bright so it’s easy to see… Not so easy to see in your demonstration. This will be useful for me to find cameras… So that when I walk around naked… I know where to stay and so they can get a good view. Thank you.
I personally would not recommend this if your objective is to find hidden cams. I've been using mine for some time now and while it _can_ help to potentially identify a possible lens, you'll be using it for hours.
I find it's a real hit or miss with that.
He had to get close because he was using a low sensitivity. It depends on your environment. if you have Wifi and dont want to detect that then yes you lower the sensitivity and get close. Generally you want to do a sweep for things anyway to locate them you want to be close to find their source.
I assume having lights off in the room
When you put the detector up next to the ceiling fan, it made noise, did you find a camera or microphone in the ceiling fan unit? From: Scranton, Pennsylvania
Hey dude. Thanks got the vid. Just wanted to ask you if this actually blocks FM. because In my country it’s advertised as a signal jammer
The one I bought said nothing about it being a signal jammer. Signal detector, Yes
yup I need it to find things that are 12" away LMAO
I still haven’t found a video that shows using on actual hidden cameras
Same idk
And this guy lays the device right on top of the detector..
The 2 other green bars below the actual LED bar, ar just fake images. So it is basically the same as the cheaper version cc308?
To find cam you forget to mention to hold the button to make the leds flash faster to sweep for cameras bettter
Have one. Great machine. Great price. Amazon
I don't know if you will reply since it's been 4 years, but, I have a metal frame on my bed, and it's going off like crazy. I assume that the wifi is bouncing off the metal? Thus, metal bedframes are a hotbed of Radio Frequencies?
I'm having a hard time learning how to use this to detect any hidden microphones. Anyone have tips?
Good lord. Volume control!
Hes doing it wrong....when you tire it down you make it smarter more sensitive...the closer you get make it more sensitive

Hello sir does this voice recorder also find ones that are outdated
Interesting what the infra red showed up on your computer screen at 5:01...at face hidden in the original screen image
can it detect a motion sensor?
I wonder if if there way to transmit the data to a more visual state like my cell phone screen??
Is there a camera that can’t beat this?
BAZAAR is there an item that can b e purchased to stop /interefere with covert listening devices within walls?
What’s with the magnetic 🧲 field?
Maybe if there are magnet gps or audio?
Vehicles that have gps trackers usually have strong earth magnets. Even if the gps is off, the magnet detector will very much help identify where one could potentially be. This is just a hypothetical reason to help understand it.
Microphones, speakers, and gps tracking cradles all have permanent magnets and give you another way to detect things. Also when current is passed through a conductor it will induce a magnetic field (probably too small to actually detect with this device) so you can pick up on operating electronics even when they are not actively transmitting.
That being said, this is not my field of expertise. I’m a mechanical engineer, not an electrical one, so most of this is just running on memory from college about 15years ago. But the theories should be sound. If anyone knows better please feel free to correct me.
You should've turned off the laptop camera and pointed the detector again. I don't think it would've made any difference. 😂😂
Got one today, done all this, didn't beep once. Typical I got a dudd.
I have a detailed question: I'm getting this low frequency, high hizzing sound throughout my house. Note: "I have been followed for some time lately. I'm being extremely cool about it; although what I assumed to be an investigation has turned into a plot." I've noticed if I'm talking inside or listening to something, this sounds gets louder. I have used voice memo to verify I'm not losing my noddle's. Plus I've sampled a few sound decibel meters app. Now... Is this an indication that my home is wired and could outlets be a way for someone to chime in on my privacy? Thanks in advance.
This sounds like Gangs stalking/ Targeting.
Gangstalking is real it's domestic terrorism
None of these test represent real world testing, you don't need a device to find a ring camera that's 10cm away.
Thank you. Put all secret devices right on top of detector and it will work.
The spy on the phone.... the K18 delete it?
dude, volume. can't hear you, but that beeping, omg
got to get too close .
First*>>>IF YOU USE HEADPHONES TURN THEM DOWN!!!!
I sztuka się skończyła 🤷
How do I get the FBI out of the attic of my apartment? Is there a plug in pest remover that works on people? I can't get rid of the rats or the FBI.
Them boys some frauds. That side no good lad. They dont rap for no cause. They some dogs
Rosalind Earp hahahahHhhhahHahah
BILLY THE KID frame trump? Lmao he hasn’t been held responsible for any of his constitutional violations
TheMighty Ravendark we got jumpin dogs y’all it’s fleas now
I suggest using a match.
who knows how far of a range this thing has?
What i do if this device find for me a Wifi signal If I don’t have the password 😂 It’s only good to find hidden cameras
Does not detect GPS signal, you can see lenses reflection, as for magnetic probe, another magnet would do that as it repels from the target magnet, nice toy, not serious detecting equipment, you need radio frequency oscilloscope equipment for that, expensive but works, I've tried all these cheap versions from eBay and Amazon and none of them detect GPS signals, this is a toy and nothing more, I'm surprised the box does not have MI5 CIA approved on it,
Where can we find one that does detect GPS signal?
The technology required to detect these signals is nothing special. Its even possible to make your own if you understand circuits. Of course, if you want professional equipment then you pay more and you can identify exactly what you are detecting with spectrum analysis.
Somehow I feel I should take what you said with a pinch of salt...

Throw it over your left shoulder. To hit the devil in the eye.. Ouch.
Hello Bazzar, i got a detector, wants to set up the business with you. Looking forward to hearing from you.
DO NOT BUY IT. It sure beeps but to EVERY radio signal. You won’t be able to tell where it’s coming from … wasted my money.
What about GPS ??
The magnetic field detection is presumably for the magnet that holds a GPS device to the underside of the vehicle. That said, what if it's NOT magnetically coupled to the vehicle? GPS is a receiver and does not intentionally radiate. The key word, intentionally. The only way you could detect it is by detecting some type of EMI unintentionally radiating from the board, which if it passed FCC approval, should be minimal, but still somewhat detectable with a spectrum analyzer. This is the same theory as a radar-detector detector. A radar detector is a receiver but you can detect unintentional radiation of it's IF and crystals that get heterodyned up to something that radiates that you then detect. If I were to build a spy cam, I would have it record to flash and then upload the video once a day, in the middle of the night. The RF section would never be active. This is the first device I have seen with the lens spotter.
GPS *tracker* yes but they only transmit when a vehicle is moving so you'd need to drive around then do a quick scan before it goes back into sleep
comprei um não presta pra nasa
so now in 2022 is this too far behind today's tec ???
Another worthless "TOY"
This is one of the worst RUclips video I ever saw! It beeps wow I need to get some for everyone
if you want God to forgive you dont commet here just go to the church and pray.
this product sucks!!!!! i have it pointed directly at camera and nothing
That's great, but we have no way of knowing if you have it in the right mode or the settings correct. So far, mine works great.
The LED's are used to find reflective surfaces such as on camera lenses. The purpose of the viewer is to intensify this visual. The led's are also able to pulse which to me, is my preferred mode. It helps make it easier to differentiate a possible reflection or light source. The light source would stay lit, and the reflection blinking.
how much for the price and where can i get this stuff??
rizal hamzah Amazon. Less than $50
@@NPCSN thanks bruh!
It's a piece of crap
I only a toy! I have it....i detect only GSM,today Police or my wife 🤣use much more sofisticated things and more eficient. This Is only a toy! Don't put your trust in this thing because You gonna get in real trouble. The good things are very expensive like 10k. .not 30 euro
I'd still be interested to know what they use. After reading some of the comments i think I'm going to look into it
Why do normal folks like us, need detectors in the 10k range?
