Tina is amazing. She looks and sounds magnificent here. Hard to believe it was her last tour. They said she was "passed it" when she came back in the 80's whilst just in her 40's and she made them eat their words. She was nearly 70 here. It just shows age is but a number. Thank you Tina. Brings tears to my eyes !! Sitting here in my 50's listening to this great song from the 80's !! Such memories!! R.I.P. The Great Tina Turner !!! 😭😢❤❤❤
48 years old here. As a child I could not really appreciate her, but over time I learned to appreciate her more and more, and of course especially this song because of the movie, but also because of its POWERRRRRRRRR!!!! And this version just is EPIC!!!! I cried too many tears these past months for other reasons so my eyes stay dry while watching this, but believe me: BARELY!!!!!!
Who doesn't get goosebumps with this stunning, phenomenal performance Tina Turner delivers live during this song? A woman dedicated to her craft, mission and vision, and fearlessly being lifted up at age 70. But the truth is she was lifting us up! Her name is synonymous with one-of-a-kind overcomer who will definitely be missed by almost everyone. Rest in Peace, Tina Turner. True legends never die.
Tina was born in 1939, so she's exactly 70 years old right here. I think that's pretty ballsy for an old lady to ride a platform over 30 feet up into the air and still keep her composure while performing. She is definitely a diamond that was formed in lifes heat and pressure.
And she doesn't look old at all. And her voice is still great. I really take inspiration from people who defy the odds. Still loads better than the music performances of my times these days...
Cannot believe its been a year "and two days" since Tina's passing, one thing's for sure, we will never see anyone like Tina again. She was not a once in a lifetime experience, she was a once in an existence experience.
Well Depends on what part of the year this is . Her Birthday is Nov 26th 1939 I saw her in August 1993 here in Richmond Va with Chris Isaak & Nov 24th 2008 at the Capital Center in DC. Concerts of a LIFETIME. For sure
This made me cry... This woman is fearless at her age to be lifted up that high on a tiny platform... Still got that look, (her signature legs), still got that powerful voice... The nostalgia she brought back performing this song, and after over three decades, she still rocks the stage... Tina Turner is a true legend.
LEGEND. From beginning to now. Forever. No other female artist in my opinion can hold a candle to Tina. She kicked that door down & burned it. True talent. Fierce woman.
Tina Turner has to be the ultimate female rock star ever known! No 70 year old does this anywhere on this planet, she's more than a woman! Wow! Happy birthday to you legend!
Yes, this one is great, so charismatic and strong :))))) I also love "Look me in the heart", "Two people" (great one), of course "Private dancer" and HER duos with David Bowie and Eros Ramazotti....and old ones with Cher of course. Not weird at all for us old farts that grew up with her - we know all too well that performers like her are leaving us now all too quickly, as far as we are concerned.

That crowd is under her spell. Wish I'd been there ❤❤❤😂
Wow! Her entrance gave me goosebumps and made my scalp tingle!
Take a good look at that beast of a man standing off to Tina's right, that large man who's at the top of the platform with her. His expression and presence just says it all. Solid respect to the QUEEN.
