Notice he uses chain lightning anytime he doesnt have instant lava burst, primordial wave, and his maelstorm is below 50

idk.. I love shaman but then next expac they remove this set and the fun is gone..
I really hate having to press 20 buttons to do same dps as a guy that presses 3..
all of that while having just 1 defensive.

Completely agree! Shaman is the oldest char in my account but at some point, neeeded to have some credibility that shamans hadn’t and still don’t have.

But that's exactly why there are different dps specs. Some people prefer smashing the same 3-6 buttons while really pushing meters on muscle memory and twitch, some prefer to have a bigger toolset that have them thinking through encounters. Like most people, I like being at the top of a meter at the end of a dungeon or boss fight, but personally it's just more fun to play inspector gadget and time a dungeon in the low 20s (s3) having placed a respectable third in DPS, resigned to the fact that higher keys aren't for me.

Compared to other casters ele shaman has a nasty/fake/clunky rotation, i dropped the class in s1, i was playing it since vanilla molten core
