This is going to be the best build yet. Those vehicles are bullet proof and work well under cross country environments. This build is going to be epic. I’m along for the ride, good luck 🎉
My jaw hit the floor and stayed there when I saw what you bought! This is going to be epic,I knew nothing about these vehicles but have 100% confidence you will build something amazing out of her. I read in the comments the landy’s having to be sold, someones getting a unique quality bit of kit, how often can a buyer refer back to videos showing the actual build, hope you get the money it deserves 🙏💕

Can't wait to see the outcome of this epic build. Jon was at his best with the fireman outfit. Jess, you look pretty amazing if that's what old age does for you ❤❤
Can't wait to see this finished. Replacing one of them shutters with just a big window would look amazing tho. Especially if there's a sofa opposite it to sit and look out
How about a window covered by the shutters? Is that doable on a vehicle, can have them on homes. That way you keep the awesome look with practicality...and a bit of security.
Looked like Jess was about to address the people 👑 & Jon is there no limit to your talent, I can see a calendar coming out alongside your cookbook 😉 I can't wait to see what you do with this beauty. Good luck guys 🍀

Going in for a major surgery soon with extended rehab to follow. I’m so frickin’ excited to know I’ll be watching this build while in recovery. Best of luck. Love, love your videos.❤
Great video again, this will be a good build, but I think the shutters are a feature that need to be kept well at least some of it, there must be a way to have your windows there and weather seal the rest with a clear resin or something? Cheers mate, Yeah I used to have both actually , the Teflon liner was a bit of a pain as it worked ok but used to snag the wire quite allot so had to mess about re feeding through a fair bit, then had a spool gun which was much better but still can’t get a great finish so sold them and went for the tig, I was gonna mention it but I thought allot of people would of got bored me going on about all that 😂, 👍

The "Pinzgau" is a mountainous region of Austria, part of an old system of counties, with Zell am See the main city. Pinzgauer cattle were bred there. And the Pinzgauer military and utility vehicles were produced there too.

Well big John the general must be a satisfied customer that’s all I’m saying Wow exited for this epic van build series that is about to start. Can’t wait Never even seen a vehicle like this can’t believe it Well done guys it’s gonna be mega
Welcome home Nice rig, but very surprised that they let you drive it home with the blues still on it On the back, in place of the shutter, I would beef it up so that you can hang a spare wheel (or two) on there 19:00 - you can use MIG on Aluminium (and Stainless Steel), just need to swap out the wire and in some case the gas. For the TIG machine, I would invest in the pedal, as it gives you way more control over the "heat", if it starts to blow through you can ease up and it will turn the torch power down. Also you can position the torch with no worry of an arc and then use the pedal to start
Yeah I thought the blue lights were naughty but all the sirens and that have been disconnected, Yeah I used to have a mig with a liner in to do ally and I also tried a spool gun too, both worked really well but still not ideal, Yep gonna order a pedal mate, glad I’ve tried without the as I now realise why it’s needed especially at the end of the weld 👍👍
Another great video guys love the Pinzgauer looking forward to the build on this one with fireman John may need more clothes on welding Aluminium . Jess can’t wait for the interior design and fit out all the best.
She’s a beauty and going to enjoy watching the build on this one 😊 Got to say Jon that was the campest fireman I have ever seen😂 but glad to see you back in the workshop
Hi there TBT, I love your choice of steed now, the oily bits are pretty bulletproof and I understand VW used the engines in their commercial vehicles, when I was in the motor trade years ago I was offered one for peanuts and foolishly rejected it, but back then it was all about shifting stock, and it was a welcome return for 3Ts, see you soon stay safe.
Big up the Grill Inn!!! It was an extremely pleasant surprise to hear the shout out when watching this morning 😂😂 So glad you made one in as planned! I hope you had a good feed too (5 plate minimum!). Thank you very much for the shout out, you've made my day and thanks again for introducing me to the wonderful world of Grill Inn!😂 Wow! I'm really looking forward to this build and seeing another addition to the garage! You've got me (and I'm sure the rest of us) all guessing to where it'll be going when you've completed it... Keep up the cracking work as always you two. ❤
You deserved it!!! Legendary!! 💪😘💪😘 😂😂 we did indeed, of course too much of a feed and had to waddle back to the landy 😂 thanks so much, we absolutely love it and can’t wait to see how it turns out. Few options on where we go depends on how long the build takes really, would love to do Albania, Greece and Turkey but we also want to do the North American Arctic in the Sainsbury’s van this winter, so just depends on timing really as it’s a big old drive down there. Also think it would be wicked to take to Iceland in the summer and do the f roads but don’t think we will get it done in time for that this year so will just see how we get on 💙
Thanks mate, so this one’s not an iom one it was stationed at dulverton down south, Been to IOM a few times, love it over there, went on the bike last time, wish I was there at the minute for the tt
You two are mental but we already knew that! Excited for this one it's gonna be a whole different kettle [of fish]. As someone who came in on the Sainsbury's van I appreciate and like the flashback story.
Such a small world, I can't believe you actually picked up your new vehicle straight across the road from me in Carluke, your RUclips channel is fantastic and best of luck with the new project 😊

😂😂😂 cheers mate, well what can I say she’s a lucky girl hey 😂👍
Looking forward to watching this build
Thanks 👍👍👍
What a new toy, I can’t wait to see what you turn her into! Big love to you both x
Thanks it’s gonna be a beauty hopefully 🥰💙
Wow! You’ve outdone yourselves with that beauty! Really looking forward to watching this conversion! I love you two!
Ah thanks very much 🥰
Welcome home
Nice rig, but very surprised that they let you drive it home with the blues still on it
On the back, in place of the shutter, I would beef it up so that you can hang a spare wheel (or two) on there
19:00 - you can use MIG on Aluminium (and Stainless Steel), just need to swap out the wire and in some case the gas.
For the TIG machine, I would invest in the pedal, as it gives you way more control over the "heat", if it starts to blow through you can ease up and it will turn the torch power down. Also you can position the torch with no worry of an arc and then use the pedal to start
Yeah I thought the blue lights were naughty but all the sirens and that have been disconnected,
Yeah I used to have a mig with a liner in to do ally and I also tried a spool gun too, both worked really well but still not ideal,
Yep gonna order a pedal mate, glad I’ve tried without the as I now realise why it’s needed especially at the end of the weld 👍👍
@@truebluetravellers Just don't let Jess near the pedal with those lead feet of hers 🦵🏼🦵🏼 🙂
@@Lee_Proffit 😂😂😂
Yes another build can't wait to see the plans come together.
Thanks mate 💪💪
Can't wait to see how this van build turns out! What a vehicle
Thanks Sammi 😊👍
Another great video guys love the Pinzgauer looking forward to the build on this one with fireman John may need more clothes on welding Aluminium . Jess can’t wait for the interior design and fit out all the best.
😂😂😂😂😂 yep otherwise Jon will be big red too
Well, I wasn't expecting that! This is gonna be a cool build. I can't wait to watch!
Thanks mate 👍
She’s a beauty and going to enjoy watching the build on this one 😊
Got to say Jon that was the campest fireman I have ever seen😂 but glad to see you back in the workshop
😂😂😂😂 I know I was pretty dashing hey 😎👨🚒😂👍
@@truebluetravellers very dashing yes mate
Hi there TBT, I love your choice of steed now, the oily bits are pretty bulletproof and I understand VW used the engines in their commercial vehicles, when I was in the motor trade years ago I was offered one for peanuts and foolishly rejected it, but back then it was all about shifting stock, and it was a welcome return for 3Ts, see you soon stay safe.
Cheers mate, yep got the old lt motors in apparently, turbo but no intercooler, will have to try a sort something I recon 👍
So looking forward to seeing this build and then the adventure you’ll be taking her on once complete 💙
Thanks Jackie 🥰
Big up the Grill Inn!!! It was an extremely pleasant surprise to hear the shout out when watching this morning 😂😂 So glad you made one in as planned! I hope you had a good feed too (5 plate minimum!). Thank you very much for the shout out, you've made my day and thanks again for introducing me to the wonderful world of Grill Inn!😂
Wow!
Also think it would be wicked to take to Iceland in the summer and do the f roads but don’t think we will get it done in time for that this year so will just see how we get on 💙
Wow, a Triumph Spitfire 👏👏👏😂😂🚀🚀🚀
That’s the last time I send pictures of tractors.
Great piece of media once again…
Keep it up (again) 😆
😂😂😂😂😂😂cheers mate
I have loved the previous builds but this is going to be epic, cant wait to see this one done.......
Thanks Sandy 😊👍
Can’t wait to see this build, I would say it’s an ex Isle of man rig, somewhere you guys should definitely go to if you haven’t already been
Thanks mate, so this one’s not an iom one it was stationed at dulverton down south,
Been to IOM a few times, love it over there, went on the bike last time, wish I was there at the minute for the tt
We love your build episodes and can’t wait to see what you come up with this time around. The red rocket is going to be something special I’m sure.
😂😂 thanks mate hopefully she’s gonna be a beast 👍
WOW, 😮 that is awesome. I love it. I can't wait to see the Camper Build 😊
Thanks mate 👍👍

Now thats a vehicle! Made a few covers for the 4x4 pinzgauer's back in my last job. Cannot wait to see how this evolves in the weeks to come.
Cheers mate 👍
Love going on your journeys from start to finish. Love your humour, a good laugh on a Saturday morning, looking forward to next build 👍🏻👍🏻🥰🇬🇧

When I read "what a beast" I thought you meant Jon, but soon realised you didn't 😂😂
Thanks very much that’s really kind of you to say 👍😊💙
What a cool motor, the chassis is awesome. I've never seen anything like it. I can't wait to see how it progresses. Good luck!.
Cheers mate 👍
You two are mental but we already knew that! Excited for this one it's gonna be a whole different kettle [of fish]. As someone who came in on the Sainsbury's van I appreciate and like the flashback story.
Oh my Guinness! That intro with Granny Jess is brutal! 🤣 Almost as brutal as your new rig, by the way! 😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂👍
Such a small world, I can't believe you actually picked up your new vehicle straight across the road from me in Carluke, your RUclips channel is fantastic and best of luck with the new project 😊
Thanks very much mate, we could of dropped by for a cuppa
