"Let us fight for what we care for! Let us fight for what we love! The Light is with us! Keeper Tyr will guide us! We shall stand and fight! Let us hold our vows to Tyr! Let us face the darkness ahead! The Light will guide us! Our faith will drive us! We shall stand strong!"
I would love to see a film franchise built around reign of Chaos and frozen throne... 1st film: (Scourge Of Lordaeron) Focusing on The Horde leaving Lordaeron and Arthas' fight against Mal'Ganis and ultimately his corruption upon seizing Frostmourne. 2nd film: (Return of the Legion) This focuses on Arthas now turned death Knight ravaging Lordaeron preparing for the summoning of Archimonde and Jaina's escape to Kalimdor. 3rd film: (Reign Of Chaos) Looking on to the Horde landing in Kalimdor and the corruption of the Warsong Clan and the civil war that envelopes giving birth to the Human/Orc alliance with Jaina's arrival on Kalimdor 4th film: (Eternity's End) This tells the story of the mysterious Night Elves delving into history and backstory which has brought us here and the ultimate fight to defend against the seemingly unstoppable legion. Illiden's release and a sneak post credits scene of a free Illiden raising the Naga. 5th film: (The Tides Of Darkness) This will introduce the new antagonist in Illiden (working for Kil'Jaden) and focus on the aftermath of the battle of Mt. Hyjal for the night elves, humans and orcs going their seperate ways to live in harmony while also focusing on Mieve's pursuit of Illiden ending in Illiden's eventual failure and escape. 6th film: (Curse Of The Blood Elves) Centering around Kael'Thas (who briefly appears in the latter of the previous film). We follow his journey (looking into his backstory along the way) from a 2nd class life of discrimination to his thirst for magic and power which ultimately corrupts him to become everything he fought against aligning himself with Illiden and the Naga taking over outworld and essentially becoming a soldier for the very legion he previously fought against. 7th and 8th film: (Rise Of The Lich King Part 1 & 2) In this 2 part finale of the series we focus on the founding of Durotar and the battle between The Horde and Admiral Proudmoore. We also have a split story between Arthas' journey back to Northrend to save the Lich King and the birth of The Forsaken storyline back in Lordaeron. The series ultimately ends with Thrall and Jaina bonded stronger then ever after their adversity involving her father. Sylvanes (spelling?) And her Forsaken wage war on Kel'Thuzad and the rest of the scourge in their bid to carve their own path in the world. Arthas ascends to his throne becoming the Lich King after an epic battle against Illiden. Can even have a wee teaser post credit scene of Kael'Thas (who slipped away from icecrown upon defeat) being approached by Kil'Jaden offering him a deal leaving a potential to carry the series into the WOW games. With the right casting this would be awesome!
Somehow agree, the opportunity they missed is unimaginable. Arthas movies finally leading to his fall and mixing story with Illidan, Draenei and Burning Legion would be awesome. Although I would end first movie with Arthas killing Uther
Lordaeron seriously needs to be returned to it's survivors and the Forsaken need to be put to rest. The Undead have been allowed to linger for too long.
I've never felt so patriotic for a fictional country
