As you may know I am just starting this journey. DIY paint required a store or booth. Now I have 3 booths! I decided to sell because the chalk paint thst was popular here was no longer being made. The $20 to $30 shipping every time I wanted to try a new color was budget killing. DIY is still jot popular here but I am working on it! Good to hear other journeys!
Congrats on becoming a DIY stockist! Such a great community and when people realize you are selling it you will get those DIY Paint lovers on repeat!

I absolutely adore Heather @CreateYourOwnCozy! I find Heather to be very down to earth, encouraging, very raw and real about/with crafting and that makes her relatable for me. She has sent me encouraging words on many occasions and it’s appreciated ALWAYS. I loved this Podcast in particular. I had never watched Heather on Create Your Own Cozy until you mentioned that she was going to be your next guest. I went over to her channel and immediately fell in love with her. It was something about the way she looked, the way she talked with such confidence and friendliness and her smile. And of course her talent. That's a no brainer! I was so surprised to hear that she has struggled with self confidence. She is so smart and all of her questions were answered with such thought and intelligence. I am so impressed with her. By the way...I subscribed to her channel after that first video. Anyway I want you both to know that I feel like we would be great friends if we lived in the same area. You are both so down to earth and kind. But I'm sure everyone wants to be your friend....because, after all, you are famous! 😁 Thanks for such a great podcast, Sonnet and all you do! Seriously

I totally understand that moody artist feeling! I have a vision for an Alice in Wonderland child’s secretary desk and started painting it, but it didn’t feel right. It’s sitting here half done, but I need feel the inspiration before I keep doing more stuff that isn’t contributing to my vision.
The inspiration will come. Sometimes you just have to take a step back from a project for a bit. 😊

I really enjoyed this podcast you both are wonderful creators. I would love to have a vendor booth I love to thrift and create items but don't have storage. I'm not sure how to find a booth. Some tips would be welcome.
Thank you Debra! You can try calling around your area to some antique malls, shops and see if they have small areas for creators. You can even try some consignment shops and boutiques. A lot of places will start you off in a small kiosk or shelf just to be certain you are serious about being a vendor. Then you can work your way up from there. Hope this helps! 😊
Find a place you love to shop and get to know the owners! If you love to be in that space then your customers should too!
