    That bubble in the wheel is why I don't like the little street tires on these bikes and I prefer the "real" DOT tires I got for my Razor Mx650.... They're 10x3 and 16x3 (the front wheel is only a 12 inch rim so its confusing) but they're still better than the 8x8s or whatever these are. I've never had a problem w/ them, even at 40mph.... The stock ones would expand and rub so it was a necessity when going from 36v 650w to 48v 2000w then eventually to the 72v/80v 6000w kit Electro and Co sells.

    Hey bud how are you it’s me Joe again, always asking you questions I’m sorry but you seem so knowledgeable. This weekend I put 26 pound valve springs and the fire 265 cam. It had 18 pounds Springs with the mod2 . My question is is it normal to have to adjust the carburetor a little bit after putting heavier springs in a bigger cam. Thanks buddy and have a good new year

    • @Black66
      @Black66  Год назад

      Yes sir. That bigger cam alone might warrant adjusting the carb . With the different vacuum signals and the different lift and duration specs. I'm always having to mess with jetting and carb adjustments for all the parts I'm swapping around here. It would be cool to have a one size fits all carb. Maybe like one of those fuel injection setups.

    I have an 18 cc head shaved 80,000 and I went with that cam because it had the same direction as the mod 2 Cam. Whatever I’m just gonna pull the friggin thing out. I’m waiting for my CDI electronic ignition with variable timing battle to help the bike

    • @Black66
      @Black66  Год назад

      You could always go back to the Mod 2 . I was using a 265 with less duration that was designed for the lower RPM band. The cam goes well with my supporting parts. With your bigger cam, you could set up the engine to take advantage of the valves being open longer, and that added RPM.

    • @jojojeep1
      @jojojeep1 Год назад +1

      @@Black66 OK I changed out my gas filter I think that was what was doing it. I got exactly the same mile an hour top end but it did pull all the way up. I don’t know if you understand what I’m saying but when you give the gas and the clutch is trying to engage and The clutch shutters and shakes. With this cam it doesn’t do that it just goes straight through to the top so I guess it’s doing what it supposed to.
