Lauren, Wow! I grew up listening to Chrissy (& Mark; the Divinyls), they are are part of who I are. I even hung with Wazza very briefly in the late eighties. Girl I reckon Chrissy would be proud. There'll never be another Chrissy, but your voice, your delivery, you categorically nailed this. I absolutely love it. Mark is a genius & if I can say, Divine(yl) intervention made this happen after more than a decade, I'm glad it happened to give us a most authentic & awaited revisit with you on vocals. This is excellent and I love the husk in Lauren's voice. It's quite melodic/flowy compared to the original. It'd be great to hear some more 'bite' - that powerful grit & hint of aggression that feels close to desperation which Chrissy brought. For me that is a distinctive trademark of this song.
