This was one of my absolute favorite movies growing up! I always got so excited whenever they would air in on the Disney Channel back in the day. Man, those were the days!
I wasn’t even born until the late 90’s, and I haven’t seen this movie. But I stumbled across this music video and just fell in LOVE with it. My kids and I listen to it all the time and die laughing! They quote it almost daily, and it’s made it’s way into an inside joke in our family. We love it so much. Top that. 💘
@r33mote While this may be true, it's not because of its comparison to others in terms of cinematic quality, but its level of cringe-worthiness by today's standards.
its a shame ppl forget about little Zelda Rubenstein. She was great in this movie as per usual. Really creepy character but adorable. I always recognized her from all the horror movies she’s in. May her soul rest in peace.
I LOVE that scene and the whole movie! It's one of my FAVORITES! I know people say it's just another cheesy teen movie, but honestly, cheesy isn't always a bad thing. It's a feel-good movie in my opinion, and it told a great story!
I've cringed at this scene all my life, but loved watching it because it was so hilariously bad. I never would have guessed that the actors--who I'd always assumed must be annoying people--felt the same way. They actually come off as likable when you hear them talking about this scene.
😆 I hear ya....it was cringe when I was 12. I watched this damn movie all the time tho on HBO. Cool to find this& hear from the guy who rapped....seems like a cool guy. I didn't realize 'Top That' was so iconic.😆
The fact that Louise’s amulet made me love this scene is beyond iconic. I remember as a child watching it on Disney and laughing hysterically. Finally renting the movie on vhs and seeing the scenes disney cut for censorship was everything
I never really understood it - when I first saw it (2007 - 2015; some year in there) in my 20's. The movie, I've never even seen. It's funny but yeah, what a time
I’m going to a costume party as the lead actress. I’m 35 yrs old and my siblings ages 35 through 29 love this movie. We watch this scene all the time. 😂❤
Makes sense they went back later to add scenes. I have always wondered why Louise's hair looks different in some scenes. Same style, just looks different like it had grown some or it was styled ever so slightly different from the original scenes the first time around.
This scene plays in my head at least once a day....like for real. Shit's really fucked me up😕 Anyway....Robyn looks great! She kinda reminds me of Holly Marie Combs.
Hilarious! This was the one scene from back in the day, my sister and myself had watched a couple million different times throughout our lives so watching this NOW has completely made my life thus far! Lol 😂 love it, fantastic!
I was shown the scene and was physically hurt. But this video with their perspective made me smile. They knew it was bad but had to do it. Can't knock the actors for doing their jobs.
It's been coming on HBO a lot lately, or Epix, I'm not sure which, and it's brought back so many memories of my childhood..it was one of those movies that came on every afternoon. And I was bullied like VIOLENTLY ( still have ptsd ) and so it was sort of a solace for me to watch movies every afternoon after school, and this one was one of my faves.
I’m sorry kids were terrible to you, glad you found comfort in fun teen flicks 🤗 my bf also was terribly bullied and found comfort in film, now he makes films.
I love Teen Witch !!❤ LOVE THAT SCENE ! HUGE CHILDHOOD MOVIE THAT I CONTINUE TO LOVE TO THIS DAY ! I'm just such a huge fan. This movie deserves a special edition Blu-ray and a soundtrack for purchase with every single song on it. The special edition Blu-ray should have the original vhs movie cover !!!!
I would have never imagined that this scene, that my siblings & I laughed at so hard. I'm in disbelief that they created this scene 😂 Its Iconic and seems to get stuck in your head 🤐
I’ve been quoting and dancing this scene FOR YEARS, and it wasn’t til I was in college that I found somebody who knew what I was referring to. Seeing this many people who also loved it makes me wonder where were you all? I could’ve used back up dancers!
I'd say Terry Crews' "A Thousand Miles" was a close second to this from White Chicks. Or when Marlon *in disguise* corn rows one of the twin's friends hair and was having a "girls night" with them.
Yes, thank you Disney for exposing this classic to me as a child. It's so nostalgic and this scene brings me so much joy. All the love from this 90's kid❤❤🙌
These two actors have the best attitude about this ridiculous scene. We all love it! Well done and well played you two!
What really makes this scene is how committed their performances are. There's no sense that they aren't giving it their all.
"there was no moment where I thought what I was doing was cool" 😂
😂😂🤣🤣
Props to that dude 👍😂
💀
Dude he thought he was the coolest thing out stfu lmao
Wow, I'm glad I'm not the only one that loved this movie and especially this song! Top that!
Vegan Movie Guy yes!!!!
*Look how funky you are...I'll never be hip!*
Loved this movie too
This was my first pg13 movie I saw lol
Lol
They didnt realize how epic this scene would become
Agreed 👏🏼👏🏼💯💯🤣🤣😂😂
idk about epic lol
The way he describes this scene is hysterical 😭
😂😂🤣🤣💯💯👏🏼👏🏼
He’s a thespian
He's so....funky
you will never be hip
This was one of my absolute favorite movies growing up! I always got so excited whenever they would air in on the Disney Channel back in the day. Man, those were the days!
I love how they all took it seriously on screen though, so I totally give them props on that
💯💯👏🏼👏🏼🤣🤣😂😂
That scene is so bad that it’s good. Top that.
Joshua Carbajal your off, it’s actually so bad it’s good and then bad again... it runs two laps of badness.
I don’t really give ah about topping that
😂😂🤣🤣
The girl's arm moves like Kermit and Elmo's arms when they sing! 😂😂😂
Youre
The actors are beyond sweet sharing their memories. Believe everyone: this is a beloved scene!!!
"Im King! And they know it!" goes kinda hard 😂
At least they all had a good sense of humor about it 😂
😂😂🤣🤣👏🏼👏🏼💯💯
Good lord, Robyn Lively aged well. She must really have witch powers.
When she smiles she looks just like she did in the movie!
I hope she appears in Cobra Kai as Jessica from Karate Kid 3.
It's those Lively genes man. I mean shit look at Blake.
It’s those cheekbones!!! Cheekbones are key! Stops everything from sorta…settling (sagging )
she has a cute little button nose too
It's 2024, my kids are 9 and 6, and I played this scene to them one time, and they're hooked. Truly timeless! Well done, to all involved!
I’m 30 and remember watching this movie all the time on the Disney Channel. I loved it growing up
When they showed old school shit .
Me too. Lol.💯💯👏🏼👏🏼🤣🤣😂😂 I'm 34 and I still love this movie. Haha
38... Just finished Cobra Kai and I saw her and instantly thought of this 😂😂🤦🏻♂️
Me too one of my top favs💕
90s kid here...this was my favorite movie for YEARS during my childhood 🖤
I wasn’t even born until the late 90’s, and I haven’t seen this movie. But I stumbled across this music video and just fell in LOVE with it. My kids and I listen to it all the time and die laughing! Me too!!!!
Same!
OK nerd
You ain’t no nerd. This was for kids and it’s magical!!
Yess!! Same
I thought no one would see it but then it ended on heavy rotation on disney channel. Lmao.
@rudy2fat - Very true. I was four and saw this on HBO (in rotation)!
😂😂😂
I swear it was on every day back in the 90s. My sister and I watched It all the time. Oh nothing is on, oh here is Teen Witch again.
I love how self-effacing they are, especially Noah. Very enjoyable vid, thank you!
This scene took courage on many levels. People love courage.
I agree. The reason it's memorable is because the actors commit so hard.
This was such..... A fun 🍿 movie still remember it from the 80s
favorite movie. watched on Disney channel.
I started to crack up when he said "IIIII"M HAWT!" in his own voice. Hilarious.
That was one of the best scenes of this movie
@r33mote While this may be true, it's not because of its comparison to others in terms of cinematic quality, but its level of cringe-worthiness by today's standards.
Yep 💯💯👏🏼👏🏼🤣🤣😂😂
It’s def the best scene of the movie
its a shame ppl forget about little Zelda Rubenstein. She was great in this movie as per usual. Really creepy character but adorable. I always recognized her from all the horror movies she’s in. May her soul rest in peace.
I loved her in the movie and I didn't think she was creepy. The brother I found super creepy!!
I absolutely adored her in this film, her scenes are my absolute favourite scenes!
She made the movie!
I absolutely love this. I watch Teen Witch a few times a year 💖
I LOVE that scene and the whole movie! It's one of my FAVORITES! I know people say it's just another cheesy teen movie, but honestly, cheesy isn't always a bad thing. It's a feel-good movie in my opinion, and it told a great story!
💯💯👏🏼👏🏼🤣🤣😂😂
Everytime it came on Disney in heavy rotation I watched it everytime without even thinking...
Now top That
OMG I had such a crush on Rhet when I saw this movie, I was 17 when it came out.
He was so hunky! I also liked Brad. I was greedy, I wanted them both. LOL
Me too lol
@@DarkWillUser don't you mean funky?
Alex Maughan ha! Yes!
@@DarkWillUser oh yes dear... yes
I've cringed at this scene all my life, but loved watching it because it was so hilariously bad. I never would have guessed that the actors--who I'd always assumed must be annoying people--felt the same way. They actually come off as likable when you hear them talking about this scene.
Christopher Lantz yeah Noah seems really chill.
Right?! Same here! You know something is bad when a child grows up watching the scene and cringes every single time. Lol
😆 I hear ya....it was cringe when I was 12. I watched this damn movie all the time tho on HBO. Cool to find this& hear from the guy who rapped....seems like a cool guy. I didn't realize 'Top That' was so iconic.😆
They all thought nobody will see or remember it. OH IT'S TOO GOOD.
I love teen witch so much I'm never gonna stop watching it😀
“Nobody’s ever gonna see this!”
Ha! Little did SHE KNOW!!! 😂😂😂
I remember coming upon this movie by accident and we all watched it together on a rainy Saturday and it was so fun!!
Lol I don't care what anyone says, this movie is so awesome and so 80's....
And I love it!!
The fact that Louise’s amulet made me love this scene is beyond iconic. I remember as a child watching it on Disney and laughing hysterically. Finally renting the movie on vhs and seeing the scenes disney cut for censorship was everything
I still love this movie! I was an imaginative bookworm kid and this was just my style!
I love the way he described it where rap had emerged where white people couldn’t ignore it anymore but they didn’t quite have a handle on it
😂
So true
😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
When I was in high school in the early '90s, most white people that I knew that liked rap were guys. Girls weren't really into rap.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Not so true at all, your music is crap
So accurate
Loved this movie as a kid. And I still do ❤️
Love this movie 😍👌
I never really understood it - when I first saw it (2007 - 2015; some year in there) in my 20's. The movie, I've never even seen. It's funny but yeah, what a time
I watch this scene once a week at a minimum.
2020 and I’m loving it still ... true love ❤️
LOVE this movie, the entire thing is pure 80s gold. top THAT! ⭐️🖤😎🤙🏼
one of my favs, love this movie. I felt the same way as a teen girl, trying to look pretty to get the boy
I’m going to a costume party as the lead actress. I’m 35 yrs old and my siblings ages 35 through 29 love this movie. We watch this scene all the time. 😂❤
That scene is the best definition of camp
Makes sense they went back later to add scenes. I have always wondered why Louise's hair looks different in some scenes. Same style, just looks different like it had grown some or it was styled ever so slightly different from the original scenes the first time around.
Agreed 👏🏼👏🏼💯💯 I noticed the differences too as a child
They're so awesomely cool as people.. such a great attitude and in fairness it has brought us alot of happiness and laughs too xx❤❤😂😂😂🎉🎉
This scene plays in my head at least once a day....like for real. Shit's really fucked me up😕
Anyway....Robyn looks great! She kinda reminds me of Holly Marie Combs.
Loved this show and this was one of my favorite parts of the show
True professionals. ❤
Hilarious! This was the one scene from back in the day, my sister and myself had watched a couple million different times throughout our lives so watching this NOW has completely made my life thus far! Lol 😂 love it, fantastic!
Oh and my 15 yr old son was like….” Mom thank you so much for showing me that, it’s the most 80’s thing I have ever ever seen”. 😂 CLASSIC!
I would never have thought it wasnt there voices either way they nailed it my favorite movie one of my favorite scenes
I was shown the scene and was physically hurt. But this video with their perspective made me smile. They knew it was bad but had to do it. Can't knock the actors for doing their jobs.

So funky !!! That scene made me have the hots for him lol.

2:59 "Do this! Really? Do that?" I'm totally agreeing with you on that.
This was my favorite movie as a teen! My sis and I watched top that part over and over...😂
It's been coming on HBO a lot lately, or Epix, I'm not sure which, and it's brought back so many memories of my childhood..it was one of those movies that came on every afternoon. And the tubi channel😉😂
Wow. I'm so sorry u had to go through horrible bullying like that. 😞 I pray that u are living your life and u have been to therapy for your PTSD.
Its funny in the best possible way! I remember stumbling upon it on youtube and just laughed so much! Love that scene!
Yo she brought the fire with that rap
The absolute best! The Rap, the outfits, the dances, all of it together was simply ICONIC!
I always thought it was him rapping that lol

👏🏼👏🏼💯💯🤣🤣😂😂 Idk if they released a blu-ray copy yet since it's now 2022 but I will buy one if one does exists.
There is a bluray of the movie out,
I always assumed that the 'funky' guy was played by the director's son or something.
Fav movie growing up. And my fav scene is the dance at the end. Finest Hour Baby. ♥️♥️💯💯💯
Oh boy... when that music comes on.
LoL (i'll never be hip").
I watched this movie the other day :) its cool .
Looooooove it 100%
I would have never imagined that this scene, that my siblings & I laughed at so hard. I'm in disbelief that they created this scene 😂 Its Iconic and seems to get stuck in your head 🤐
Omfg they all look great
It was on cable last week! It’s still on my DVR because I keep watching it it! I love this scene and the revenge on the teacher part!
My siblings would be so proud I remember this 😂
One of the highlights of this movie 😊
I watched this all the time on disney
This movie is so underrated and this is my first time seeing the actors actually talk about the scenes.
This movie was a life saver for me during my tween years in the 90s.
When I was a kid I thought it was so cool and badass. It made me look forward to being a teenager.
I’ve been quoting and dancing this scene FOR YEARS, and it wasn’t til I was in college that I found somebody who knew what I was referring to. Seeing this many people who also loved it makes me wonder where were you all? I could’ve used back up dancers!
Love this movie ❤️
When this was referenced on 30 Rock I was so hyped.
I LOVED THIS MOVIE SO MUCH....The unknown parts are so crazy to know about NOW.
My sister and I mention this or sing part of it probably once every two or 3 weeks since we first saw it on HBO back in the early 90s.
One of my favorite movies ever! Crazy how they didn't want to do the scene and it was the best of the whole movie!!
Top that!!!😂
Agreed 😂🤣💯💯👏🏼👏🏼
The whitest scene in a movie lol
So much whiteness, I had to wear a welding mask to prevent blindness.
☠️😩
I'd say Terry Crews' "A Thousand Miles" was a close second to this from White Chicks. Or when Marlon *in disguise* corn rows one of the twin's friends hair and was having a "girls night" with them.
Yes, thank you Disney for exposing this classic to me as a child. It's so nostalgic and this scene brings me so much joy. All the love from this 90's kid❤❤🙌

Noah is so handsome!

I love this movie, Thanks Disney for putting it on repeat!!
The best scene in movie history!
the scene is iconic 80s and the movie has remained a go-to throughout the years for me...
Philip McKeon is one of the rapper's in the scene. Nancy's little brother. Ironic. 😊
I love it! It's sooooo bad it's good!!!
Lol my friend showed me this at work last night and was doing it all day! 🤣 she regrets that decision now lol.
