I think the best way to learn english is to read AND listen a lot. In english you cannot guess how a word is pronounced just by looking atbthe way the word is spellt. You should learn english with yours EARS. So the best way to learn english is to read books and listen the audiobook version at the same time or to listen a podcast and read the transcript at the same time.
I find it unfortunate the emphasis they put on the teacher's physical beauty, she certainly has it. But it is not the most important thing and it is ephemeral. Most impressive is her dedication to languages. My sincerest admiration.

the problem is that I'm not in an environment that speaks English, my main language is Arabic, my second language is French and I was so lazy when I studied English in high school and I never going to another country and who is English speaking, I started learning English when my sister went to America and learned English through their children. I can't say it's easy and I can't say it's impossible but it took a long time to understand a little and the road is too long for me to say I'm a intermediate class I have a serious problems with pharsal verbs and the time i have to use in complexed sentences I can say I'm a A2 biginner i'am sorry for my bad syntax
Not gonna lie, Even if i do judge myself as C2 english speaker i would love to study with her, she seems down to earth and im really curious what is her approach to make english fun Lets say when she did mention that she perfers reading I partly do and don't agree with her, because there are ways like watching movie or any show for that metter on english or language that you practice with subtitles and from visual perspective you understand what words mean, what character and story is trying to tell you. It is a approach where usually you think more logically and when it does come a word you can always remember even without searching "oh that word was in that show, now i do know what it means" I agree it is a bit slower progress but it is an alternative option that usually i do suggest people when they learn language Another way is that i usually teach people is to try understead meaning behind english word. So lets say the word is "Treehouse" so i always ask how would you picture or visualize that word, when would you use it, because if you think logically it would mean "House on a Tree" or shore Treehouse and usually people sometimes say "Tree that is shaped like a house" which is also technically correct My point is you can't progress in language if you don't know meaning behind the word, remember you are studying and teaching meaning of words which constructs language so it is very improtant to understand concept behind the word

I ask myself, as a man that I am, I will not learn English with you. But, as a human student, I am sure that, yes, I see that you are a great teacher. Terrible! When asked what the worst student she teaches is, she stated: "Someone who is really uninspired. When you feel that they don't want to be there. They don't want to learn English." Sara, some advice - this is your passion, to teach. This is a challenging opportunity. Step up to it! Find a way to connect with the student, convey your love for English.
Whaaaat as a fellow teacher I actually agree with her. Sure it's important to inspire students, but the way she talks about teaching English I think she seems to enjoy that. She specifically said it's not fun to teach when a student has been forced there by someone else. Ergo it's not the student's choice. Free will and all that? It's obv more "enjoyable" to teach someone who wants to learn what you're teaching. Also you're being rude by talking down to her 😅 We can all have different opinions dude, calm down
I think I've got your point, like coach talking, "go the extra mile" , "see an opportunity in the crisis", always a good exercise for us teachers. At the same time, try to put yourself in the student's place. Imagine you are not allowed to play your favorite games (and you still don't know properly how to speak up for yourself) IF you don't attend these "stupid" English classes (dad with a big frown on his face). You just DON'T want to be there, started reacting in a defensive manner. We're talking about learning, "acquiring" a language, one of the things that amazes us the most in life. The context is just not working here, she MAY ALSO BE stepping down, but even psychotherapy doesn't work this way. It's a bigger issue that should be addressed from the root cause by the staff, teachers and course coordinator.

Totally agree with you. No students really want to learn English. She is pretty but has really ugly voice and horrible pronunciation. :/
