Matt: “You can’t do this in a Cirrus” Me: Literally posts a similar video flying a Cirrus with a bike in the back last week Why’re you hating on Cirrus Matt? Isn’t the goal to get people excited about all facets of aviation regardless of the aircraft? Especially when our industry needs all the positivity it can get right now?
I think Cirrus has kind of become a target of joking within pilots.... I am sure nothing serious, just some fun poking 👍. Love Stephan Drury videos also
We recently took our electric scooters to Door County, WI, Madeline Island, and Custer, SD. Yesterday, we flew back from Sheridan, WY with a ground speed of 184 kts burning 11.4 gph. All done in a Cirrus SR22 NA. Each airplane has it’s mission. No need to bash any of them.
Not hating, just pointing out a difference. I think I briefly addressed the difference between folding bikes and full size bikes in the video too. 🤷♂️
He’s just jealous that Milkshake prefers Cirrus. Bonanza driver needs more cowbell. 😜 Of course, you could always get him back where it hurts: *See a Cirrus in the shop* “Hey, what’cha upgrading? ... Sweet! Gonna be even more awesome, dude.” 👍 *See a Bonanza in the shop* “What’cha fixin’ this time? ... Again?!” 🙄
I like that you are still based at home in S.D., I have never been to Aberdeen, but my Father's family was at Rapid City and I have spent some time there abouts several times, enjoy your video's Thanks Mat
I love this video and am re-watching it again today to enjoy my city from above. Canal is always fun for a stroll, COVID or no COVID. Looks like you also enjoyed Canal Park Brewing Company. I like their food but prefer Hoops for brews (including Duluth Coffee Company nitro on tap :), and you'd also love the atmosphere there. The boardwalk has been destroyed since last fall's 70 mph mini-lake hurricane that threw good-sized rocks well into the back yard of the Canal Park hotels. If you walk farther down toward Fitgers, you'll see the engineered reinforcements survived that storm. It's just going to take time to get the whole lake walk up to that spec. Superior doesn't mess around! Again, thanks for stopping by. Hope to "see" you again soon, Matt.
Ok so Matt! Got great news, so remember I was going to finish my pilots license back in April? Well all this stuff happened with Covid 19 so I put it off. Well called today and rescheduled, my start date is September 26th at Lunken Airport in Cincinnati Ohio! Also I got Microsoft Flight simulator 2020 and it's pretty amazing. I been repeating some of your flights and man I have to say I'm jealous of you ☺️ lol. Thanks for all these videos and you all stay safe with all of this going on and hopefully I cross paths with you in the sky one day buddy!

That canal was dug through a farmer's land who was out of town to beat an injunction. When he got home and saw what the city had done he packed up and left for Seattle. The Boeing family got going from Duluth.
Super awesome to see you flying in my old stomping ground. If you haven’t been up to gooseberry falls or Lester park, I recommend both. Just got my instrument rating up there a couple weeks ago. Love the idea of TrustyPilot.com I think we definitely need a way to filter airports that have something to do nearby. Maybe give a free trial at least, or limit free access to 100mi from “home airport”

Yea, number one is being able to get a really good used one at less than half the stupid cost of a new cirrus, even a Blackwell Bonanza that’s worth gold is still cheaper than a idiotic SR22. RV10 owners are the smart ones that make SR22 owners look like complete morons.
