Happy Anniversary Kristina. I wanted to thank you for a card idea that is using a die that has been out previously. Using our stash has never been more vital. The drastic price increases in the past year have truly made it difficult to purchase new supplies. So ideas for products we already have in our stash, are so greatly appreciated.
What pretty cards. I'm glad you left the first cards in and showed us what happened as like you I would have tried to save some foam squares. These are lovely, though, with this cardstock. So interesting. Thanks for sharing your ideas.
Kristina - all four of these cards are fantastic! I kinda like the curling up and shadow effect on the first two. But I really like the last two with the extra backing and stability of additional foam hearts. The glossy accents does complete these hearts. Such an awesome effect. Thanks for making me smile today!
I too am thankful to see the "not perfect" version and the correction to perfection🤣. I am a fellow perfectionist and videos like this really do give me encouragement!
These are lovely cards, even the curled ones. I really appreciate how thorough your directions and explanations are. Pretty paper, great die and wonderful results. Thank you so much. 🌷🇨🇦🌷
Loved this. Not only are all the cards charming but it was very cool to see you work your way through the various options until you found the best way to do the two more challenging parts of this project. Really sticks with us to see the whys and realize when the shortcuts aren't.
Love love ❤ these Kristina. I still remember the first time I saw glossy accents used and many many years later it still has that wow effect. Happy Anniversary!
I’m so glad you finished the “not perfect” cards. They deserved to be finished lol 😄I am a perfectionist and am constantly telling myself perfection is over rated, it’s handmade not hallmark but I still struggle with that. So I’m glad you showed the 2 different methods. The alcohol ink paper is gorgeous!! Happy Anniversary!!
Happy Anniversary, Kristina & Hubby! Great cards. Love the first batch, too. Even the yellowish shadowing adds to their character & charm! 🥰 Thanks for finishing those & sharing! Perfection is highly overrated! ❤️💙💜
Happy Anniversary! Simon…you have such great products! Imma gonna go broke! Kristina, These are So pretty! I have Tim’s stacked hearts, the papers (aren’t they gorgeous in real life?! Lots of glassy accents, too. You can be sure I’ll be making cards using your inspiration. Thanks so much for sharing your ideas! Joan
Happy Anniversary. Love these cards. Just a tip, I didn't have any glossy accents, so I used clear nail polish for the dollar store. Have to do several coats for dimension or good heavy one just to be shiny. Thanks for sharing. Love them, curled or not lol extra sheet of card stock and 3 foam dots made a difference. Thanks again.
A very pretty card. Maybe too many bits for me, but maybe I can do something with 3 bigger hearts or something like that. I like all of the shine. That paper is gorgeous. I wonder if I can get that look with alcohol inks. Hm. Thanks, Kristina! Happy Anniversary! 🎉
WHAT???? All crafters aren't perfectionists? Cute card. Kristina. I think I might have used foam sheets (put cardstock on first then die cut) then only remove the backing paper from the hearts. Glossy accents are so awesome. I love them.
So clever! We don’t really have press and seal in the UK but I just dug out some stretch lids you use for covering food and they work the same way (at least for glossy paper anyway). Can’t wait to make something similar with my dies!
@@andrealavigne7824 I think it depends how close to the edge you applied it. I’ve done it like that, and it worked but it could get stuck, you’re right. I might have just got lucky.
You can probably flatten the curled up hearts. Put parchment paper on them then put them in a heavy book. The foam square in the center will flatten a lot but still help the book press the edges down around the foam square.
Put the press and seal on the pattern paper after hearts cut out , turn over put foam dot on then on to card base, save a step and not getting them mixed up.
I was wondering what size are the individual hearts. I checked on sss and they only have the size of the entire die plate and it is not in stock at this time. Thanks. Enjoy your videos and really found this card cute especially with the glossy accents.
Happy Anniversary to you and your hubby. Love these cards. Not sure I'd have the patience but loved the tips on how to line up the hearts perfectly. I wonder if you used an entire bottle of Glossy Accents on those four cards. I really love the look. Thank you for sharing.
Happy Anniversary and many more years 💝 Beautiful cards Kristina 💕

Beautiful, As usual, Kristina!
What pretty cards. I'm glad you left the first cards in and showed us what happened as like you I would have tried to save some foam squares. These are lovely, though, with this cardstock. So interesting. Thanks for sharing your ideas.
Yes, she showed the difficulty so we can avoid it!

Yes! Part of the charm of handmade is the imperfection.
Happy Anniversary, Kristina & Hubby! Great cards. Love the first batch, too. Even the yellowish shadowing adds to their character & charm! 🥰 Thanks for finishing those & sharing! Perfection is highly overrated! ❤️💙💜
We love that she showed both perfect and just fine, too.
Love the super glossy look! Beautiful 😍
These are such pretty cards. I love how you put the glossy accents on the hearts. Thanks for the press n seal tip. Worked great. Happy Anniversary!
Fantastic!
Happy Anniversary!

Great substitution!
what a great idea, I have the block of pattern paper from craft consortium but I never really know what I can do with it. this i am going to try this!
Awesome! Have fun!
Such a cool idea, they look like beautiful ceramic tiles! That paper is so gorgeous.
Yes, we thought so, too!
Happy Anniversary. I love using glossy accents it adds so much shine.
Yes it does!

Yes! Use the inspiration any way that works for you!
Wow!!!!

Worth a try!
Happy Anniversary! These are adorable cards! Thank you for showing the "not great" version, then the better one. So helpful! TFS!
Glad it was helpful!
I wonder how these would turn out with UV resin instead of Glossy Accents. Gorgeous cards! TYSM for sharing!
Hmmmm, try it!
So clever! We don’t really have press and seal in the UK but I just dug out some stretch lids you use for covering food and they work the same way (at least for glossy paper anyway). Can’t wait to make something similar with my dies!
Yay! Have a blast!
I love these cards. So colorful. ❤️
Super cute❤
Such an "extra" card. Both sets look fantastic! Thank you fir sharing.
I like the look of the watercolor hearts, but I think I’ll stack hearts instead of foam dots.
Go for it!
A way to get them to stop curling is to add the gloss while it’s in the template. Keep the press and seal underneath.
Thanks for your tip! 😊
Wouldn't you risk them getting stuck in the template when the Glossy Accents dries , though? Otherwise, I think it could be a good idea. :)
@@andrealavigne7824 I think it depends how close to the edge you applied it. I’ve done it like that, and it worked but it could get stuck, you’re right. I might have just got lucky.
Super Cute cards 💕 I appreciate that you showed the entire process so we didn't run into the same "less isn't better" issue with the foam squares 😉
Yes, that was helpful!
Happy belated Anniversary! Gorgeous cards! Thank you so much for persevering and finding the best way to create a fabulous set of cards.
Yes, that was so helpful to see!
These are great! Love using glossy accents for some pizazz!
Us too!!
Wondering if the chunky embossing powder would give the same effect on the hearts
These are so pretty! I would make cards from the papers you die cut the hearts from also. That paper is too pretty not to!
Good call!
Beautiful cards, Kristina! Thanks for another superb video. Very thorough explanations.

You can probably flatten the curled up hearts. Put parchment paper on them then put them in a heavy book. The foam square in the center will flatten a lot but still help the book press the edges down around the foam square.
Hmmm worth a try.
love these cards....i think i will try this method.
Please do!
That ONE embellishment 😅!
Put the press and seal on the pattern paper after hearts cut out , turn over put foam dot on then on to card base, save a step and not getting them mixed up.
Great tip!
I was wondering what size are the individual hearts. I checked on sss and they only have the size of the entire die plate and it is not in stock at this time. Thanks.
Enjoy your videos and really found this card cute especially with the glossy accents.
Beautiful cards it’s funny I was watching a video on what’s trending in clothes this year and it’s water color prints
Kristina is right on trend!
Happy Anniversary to you and your hubby. Love these cards. Not sure I'd have the patience but loved the tips on how to line up the hearts perfectly. I wonder if you used an entire bottle of Glossy Accents on those four cards. I really love the look. Thank you for sharing.
You could also do just a few of the hearts as accents. Thanks, Carole!
No, not an entire bottle. It was a brand new bottle and I think there’s still about half left. :)
Did you put a sheet of adhesive on the back of the pattern paper before you cut the heart on your second batch?
Yes, I adhered the patterned paper to the white cardstock before diecutting the hearts.
I don’t see the supply list
Under the video description and above the comments, click SHOW MORE to see the supplies. That's where it is for every video. Hope that helps!
Could you have used fun foam?
Probably! She'd have had to add adhesive, though.
Those hearts look like cookies!
