  • Trek has tried something new and I think it’s a gap in the electric market, the Fuel EX-e 9.5 has a great valued part spec with a carbon frame all for a pretty low price.

I do not see the computer display on the top tube.

looks like you also got a SunRace 11-51 tooth cassette instead of the specked 10-51 Shimano, and no chain guide - I was wondering if I was the only one, or the bike shop misplaced it.

Yes Sunrace, classic part shortages. The guide I believe didn't get one to install....

I have the same bike, no complaints although i would pay the extra 1k for the 9.7 then I wouldn't have to do any upgrades.

Definitely not much more when your spending that much already

Nice review. Just a comment/question what you mean no one else has a bike like this? Why do you consider this one very different than Specialized Levo SL or the Pivot Shuttle SL. Those 3 definitely look similar in terms of weight and lower moto power overall compared to the EP8 etc out there.

The Lego sl is definitely similar but even further from Ebike, only has 35nm of torque almost half of the Fuel EXe, almost needs its own video because it takes everything I said and makes it more bike. not sure it wouldn’t be too under powered for the Ebike category… Pivot I’ll look into!

Way confused. From the footage, doesn’t look you or your buddy are riding the Fuel EXe.

Correct, just a visual distraction, soon I'll be able to make a ride video

''A regular mtb weighing only 44lbs''. Not a regular weight that's for sure but great review.

Slash weighs in at 37lbs and I've had Walmart full suspension coming in at 50lbs lol

@@goodluckchrisclark wow never knew the Slash was that close to 40lbs. Looks like this is about 6-7lbs lighter than the new Ibis Oso and that’s a full powered ebike - is a hard category to guage!

That motor erases that extra 12 to 14 lbs!
