What video do you want to see from me next week? Give me a topic...
Switching a player who has a solid Eastern grip serve to a Continental...
How to learn a semi-beginner and only flathitter to hit with topspin.
@@MK------- I like that too...don't need it myself but some of my students do!
Finishing balls at the net. I struggle staying calm and doing something simple. I lose so many points where I'm in an amazing position and just need to put it away.
The ball tube thing - I tried this based on Tom's earlier videos and it is SO HELPFUL. I used to bring one to warm up for matches. Used it to build my 2-hander and my serve.

men of culture...we meet again
The young lady seems like a natural, and she clearly benefits here from a simple but effective way into a smooth service motion. Suggested topic is the timing of the split step and preparation especially when the ball is coming at you quickly. Entirely selfish request as that's what I was struggling with today.
How would you explain how to time the split step? Or what have you heard?
@@TomAllsopp I certainly would not attempt to explain it! Probably heard something related to when your opponent is about to strike the ball but don't quote me!
Serving is so hard. It takes years to get a good serve. The key for me was to try every thing over and over. With each cycle, I get a better understanding of the techniques. And so I hone in on what works best.
Not bad for an Olympic lifter!
With that grip it is impossible to serve properly.
One step at a time. Changing her grip at this stage should be a criminal offense
Haha you’d know you’re not a coach. So many steps in learning tennis particularly as an adult.
