Exposed: Deloitte's Reasons for Resigning from Adani Port

Deloitte has resigned from the Adani Port as on 12th August as the Statutory Auditor of the company. Deloitte was appointed as Statutory Auditor in 2017 for a term of 5 years, after completing its term of 5 years, Deloitte was again appointed as Statutory Auditor for another 5 years. But on 12 August 2023, Deloitte resigned. Reason being told by Deloitte, that is not auditor of other Adani group companies which makes Deloitte's scope of audit very narrow.
