I mean, at the end of the day, music is all subjective. I think the album is incredible. Mind you, I've had the chance to listen to the album several times now. I think you definitely need to listen to an album more than once in order to allow the songs to grow on you in places where songs can grow on you. I think anytime a new album comes out, people listen to it once and think "rubbish" right off the bat, know what I mean? If I had to rank the songs, starting with my favourite to least favourite, they'd be: 1 - Feeling Alright 2 - Reasons To Stay Alive 3 - How 2 Dance 4 - Noel Groove 5 - Sentimental Love Songs 6 - Job Centre Shuffle 7 - Jealousy 8 - Burning in Flames 9 - Beautiful Girl 10 - The Lads
I think I will give it another try! I guess for me, it didn't really feel like the Kaiser Cheifs at the best. But I'm willing to give everything a second chance!
@@IcySnapsYeah you mentioned fibrosis, well I was suppose to see Kaiser Chiefs in concert today in Wolverhampton, had my hotel booking, ticket and travel all ready, was about to leave my home when i had a full blown vertigo attack, I'm gutted.. I know what it's like living with a health condition too, i deal with chronic vertigo/tinnitus... I was really looking forward to seeing Kaiser Chiefs, had been listening to Easy Eighth album all week and then i fall sick in seconds. I called up the hotel, unfortunately they can't waive the fee, so i have to pay the full price of the cancellation fee. Literally crying mate.. Life is so unfair. Anyways, yeah, give the album another listen, it's great.
I'm so sorry you had to deal with all that, such rotten luck! That's the things with health conditions it feels like committing to anything is a huge risk.. But at least you went for it!
