it was really nice to see them actually acknowledge Future is Medieval. Definitely an odd beast of an album, but still some really really awesome and interesting songs on there. I wish they'd play more songs from it in the live shows. Kinda Girl You Are, Problem Solved and Long Way From Celebrating are fantastic!
The Future is Medieval does sound like demos but I like to think of it as indie lowfi and I like it. Stay Together I don't listen to but few of the songs are good. The rest of KC catalog is brilliant. Yeah I'd be more proud of the Future is Medival over Stay Together! Night/Day..Britney/Dandy Warhols!

Stay Together is seriously underrated. Took me many listens to appreciate it but it's my favourite alongside Education and Your's Truly nowadays. I find the second half of every Kaiser Chiefs album yields the best songs; Education, Stay Together and Duck are perfect examples of that.

I would love to see more bands doing this. EEE&W was really amazing. Stay Together is disappointing, it doesn't allow Ricky to explode with energy live like with other albums.... although the song "We stay together" has something cool and kinda retro

EEE&W: 7 (I caught up with this one recently) Stay Together: N/A (I didn't buy it..) Duck: N/A (I need to listen to it lol! It's on the shelf waiting..) Special mention goes to the Japanese release Lap of Honour, with some decent tunes (were they bsides over here?) and a remix by Polysics who I also listen to, and a really energetic and chaotic live recording of the gem that is "Take my temperature"
EEE&W is the album I play when I want to convince people the Kaiser Chiefs are a great band. I tell everyone to avoid Stay Together at all costs. Duck is a decent return to form but it would be nice if the the guitars got turned up for a couple of songs. Every album needs a few guitar driven rockers
