I saw the show when Lin came to Puerto Rico and teared up when they started singing this song....it sure is a beautiful song and something even better to see in person! Thanks Lin!

I ran into Andrea Burns in Times Square 2 weeks ago and it was absolutely magical! She is super sweet and I even sang "Carnaval del Barrio" for her!! AH!
I cry... every single time. This musical had so much meaning especially to the hispanic community NOT represented. (sorry west side story was ages ago..)
we're doing this at Mineola High School, and damn I get goosebumps every time. there honestly could not be a better finale; it's a perfect culmination of passion and emotion
I've watched this show four times with three different casts - Broadway, the US tour, and Manila. It's one of my favorites, and that says a lot considering how many Broadway shows I've sat through. But I don't get to see it anymore. I'm having withdrawal symptoms. So.....when is the film happening? Is it happening? Please? At least give me a "Yes" or "No" so that I can have a little more closure. "Yes" will give more closure. :)
Yesterday was our closing night at Colonial High School! It was an amazing experience being a crew member! We love you and everyone that was/is involved with In The Heights!

For our closing night, there was not a dry eye on that stage when we sang this. Such a beautiful ending to a beautiful play. Ugh
