My entire high school thespian troupe is trying very hard to see if we could convince our sponsors into letting us perform this show next year; that way "that little white kid is gonna know what the Puerto Rican flag is!" I was there! I went to both the matinee and this performance... had to see the last 2 shows! I never cried so hard in my life. And I clapped so hard, I broke through skin on my hand! LOL Thanks Lin, for putting REALITY on Broadway and representing for all of us Latinos! NO PARE! SIGUE, SIGUE!

But I’ve seen almost everything Lin has done. This beautiful musical to start with. Then Mary Poppins Returns, Star Wars, Moana, Odd Life of Timothy Green and Ducktales
IN THE HEIGHTS was a landmark night in the theater for me. What an electrifying experience !! I Can't help it get choked up watching this last curtain call, being the son of an actor, I remember how Dad would sometimes get on closing nights. I was SO upset when this closed. Devestated. I never got to see the show. Luckily I get to see the national tour cast when they come to my state in June. I wish I could have seen Lin Manuel as Usnavi but he's a busy man haha

dude in Middle School an eighth-grader played Usnavi. Those nights were the best and we had a lot of fun. People even said it was going to be difficult, but we made it. Even Carla from the original cast came to our school and we performed for her and she said it was amazing.

Tri-Cities High School recently put on In the Heights (which I saw 3 nights in a row (yes it was that spectacular)), and I wish Lin-Manuel Miranda could've seen it. I wish it could've came to the Fox, and I wish I could've heard about this musical years ago.

Yesterday was the 10th anniversary of In the Heights bidding farewell. Still cannot believe the show only ran on Broadway for 3 years. I was a month away from turning 18 when this happened. And you gotta love how Lin does a speech!

We sold out 6 shows last month at Hillsborough Community College -- first time in 14 years ANYTHING has ever sold out an entire run (2 or 3 of them 'hard' sellouts; my best friend came and we hadda stuff her up on the lighting bridge :-)... Spanish Lyric Theatre mounted the production the beginning of 2020... and everyone had to wait 2 years. Ghod what a show...

The girl that was playing Nina at this show is now playing Vanessa at a local theater production of In The Heights where I live!! I went a few weeks ago and she was AMAZING
