I am a registered nurse and work the graveyard shift 7pm to 7:30 am and am grateful that you are discussing this seeing as I have not found very much info regarding this. could you PLEASE make a video discussing health for people who work night shifts. For example, should we still work out when we first wake up in the evening or right before we go to bed in the morning ? My other more important question is that unfortunately my job does not allow me the time to space out my meals as you suggested every 3 to 4 hours. How do you suggest people eat that simply cannot fit this diet plan of meals every few hours into their day? I have struggled to find information about this and would greatly appreciate your advice.

+Laura H It's all about doing what works best for you and your schedule, and it can seriously change from day to day! Work out as you can when you can - even a few minutes at a time can be awesome! Eat when you can, and make sure everything you eat is on plan. You got this!

That's a great tip about cutting in half. I work from 530am - 7pm.. Add in waking up 220 before work for gym routine. I have a 100 calorie snack/drink on way gym then bfast at 6 at work. 3-4 hours window works best for me.
    I guess it's a prebreakfast lol

Hi Heidi, I am a young teenager and still growing all my life I have been overweight and in October I finally started to make a change. However now it is July and I do not see more than 10 pounds lost. It is also hard to find support since I can't drive to clubs or such. I have made very tuff choices to get here, the scale won't budge as it should and sometimes I feel as if the food/craving controls me rather than me controlling them. This upsets me because those foods are not healthy so I say no. How do I control my cravings and food and how do I make the scale speed up? Thank you very much I love you and your husbands work. It's truly inspiring.

Hi, Heidi. I am 10 and I have been introduced to you by my mom. My name is Ashley, and I am an upcoming dancer. I do ballet, contemporary, and hip hop. I am underweight, about 25 lbs underweight, and I wanna gain weight. My doctor tells me I'm severely skinny, but I'm scared to gain weight because I see myself as fat. The thing is, all my dancer friends. People desire my body so much, yet I wish that I could get out of it. I eat a lot, one time 2 pizzas for dinner, and I weight myself before I ate, and 45 minutes after I ate, and I lost weight, about 2 lbs. I don't understand any of this. Our society is messed up and it doesn't let girls grow up without giving a care about their body image. I know you made a video about this but can you please reply? Thank you so much. My weight issues are strange, so I won't be surprised if you would be confused. 👍

+Ashiepoo Tater Tots Hi Ashley! I'd work with your mom and your doctor or a nutritionist who works with kids to put together a nutrition program for you, but make sure you're eating lean proteins, fruits, veggies, whole grains, legumes (beans), and healthy fats. And remember, the healthy foods you eat are fuel for your body so you can do all the amazing things you want to do! It's kind of like with a car - if you put the wrong type of gas in your car, or if your car doesn't have enough gas, it won't run properly or at all. It's the same with our bodies! Healthy foods give our bodies the fuel they need. And don't worry about what other people think - what you think about yourself is way more important! You are awesome! 😊 💕

I make a big smoothie in the morning and split it in half and have the other half around 10ish in the morning or later in the afternoon. Then my meals last without breaking the bank 🤑

I love watching you guys and follow you on social media. My question is this. I'm 6ft3in tall 276 lbs. I'm trying to lose weight. I eat fairly clean. For fitness I love running. I know I need to get in weight training but I don't know where to begin. I have had back issues including back surgery so I'm worried about starting. A trainer is not an affordable option. What do I begin?

+Sean Baran You can begin here: heidipowell.net/10506/metabolic-missions/. Just be super careful with your back and maybe chat with your healthcare team first. I wish you the best!

I need help. I just don’t know what to do anymore...I’m 15 years old and I’m around 127 pounds. I’m somewhere from 5’2 and a half to 5’3. I want to lose weight and be healthy but I just don’t know what specifically to eat or how to cook. The rest of my family is unhealthy. My parents are overweight, but my brother is naturally thin. He just eats whatever my mom makes or brings home. She usually makes like pasta or picks up food for us. She doesn’t really know how to cook much. I really want to be 110 pounds but I just don’t know what’s right for me anymore. I want to start being healthier now because I know it gets harder the older I get. Sorry for making this so long

I’ve tried using apps, or exercising (which I do run inside a lot but am getting sick of) and barely eating enough calories, but everything I do I just can’t stick to. My mom like to buy junk food and she tells me if I don’t want it I don’t have to have it but it’s just so hard when it’s there which is why it would be easier just not to have it in the house but no one else would follow through
