I never understood the thought process behind the whole “the longer you take the more money you make” because you’d think you’d be rewarded for being good at the game and completing missions quicker but instead we got people completing the mission in 10-15min and waiting around for another 20-15 for max payout.
Especially weird since story mode really highlighted speed in (trophies after) missions. I kinda hated that since i wanted to take my time on them, sneak around, blow people up or whatever. In online i wanted to be fast and it fits the missions, but now i can't? I don't get the logic.
It's kinda annoying how people say Prestigious Bounty Hunter licence lacks content. You get 3 new missions for each bounty hunter board. That's a lot of new missions.
It is in terms of playtime. I think players didn't like that it felt like reskinned content. They are are unique stories but because it was still the same gameplay mechanics as the original bounty missions, they felt screwed over, especially with the higher buy in at 25 gold
Or you could just knock your target out (by tackling them and punching/smashing their face in with your fists/the butt end of your gun). They don't break free from your rope that way. Or wake up after getting hogtied.
It's actually more efficient to stay in bounties for only 12 minutes. On a per bounty basis it's a lower payout than 30 min, but higher than 12 min it's diminishing rewards so doing 4 12 min bounties give more than 2 30 min bounties

You don't need to wait timer. The idea behind timer is to do other activities along the way: sedating animals and looting collectibles. But note that legendary bounties usually missing most of the collectibles spots which are available in free roam
Guys.. Plz don't waste your time waiting for the last 30sec on the timer. Thats wrong info.. instead start your own timer on a phone or smth. Overall for a balanced gold/cash/rp payout.. 9 or 12minutes inside a mission is ideal (btw timer starts when you are able to move your char)

I got the Missouri Fox Trotter and she’s great at being a bounty horse, even only on Bonding level one. She was very pricey (1,125 plus 150 for insurance), but she’s got great speed and stamina
Ride what you like, speed increases by 0.6% per rank, and stamina can be refilled on the fly at bonding 4. Therefore these two stats do not make a difference, bravery is debunked by now and handling is hard to objectivy. Ride the horse you enjoy.
Online has always been empty and boring. It's just as boring today as it was at launch. They shouldve done story based DLC like they did with GTA IV. The lost and the damned & gay tony were like getting two new games. Online sucks, TakeTwo just loves squeezing money out of the 3 whales who still play this boring trash.
I absolutely love the bounty hunter role. Especially the amount of awesome content and cool items you get from it. I have the steel gray Breton, upland saddle, and the rank 30 outfit. It feels really cool!
I play in free aim. Honestly I like the fact the longer you take the more money you get. Legendary bounties when you get them maxed out take time to strategize and in free aim makes it 10 times difficult, but I just like the immersion that free aim gives you. Also, on top of that free aim gives you more per kill so that’s a nice little bonus.
I play with free aim too, had so much fun with my first bounty, I had to sneak in, I killed a few but I got spotted, had a shoot out and nearly died then the bounty arrived which then turned into a chase

Just to help you out about there is a legendary bounty called Etta Doyle which is one of the highest paying bounties. There is a well known trick where you hide in the tunnel inside the train station until the skull symbol on the map “teleports”. After the symbol “teleports” and she says something like “Let’s ride!” then runs away you can lasso her and hogtie her. If you lasso as she is leaving no one will try to kill you so you can peacefully do the bounty. Look up a video for extra information if this wasn’t clear enough 👍
For those that want to just do a legendary bounty then wait till the cooldown is done, if you want to go afk openings the bounty board will keep you from getting kicked for inactivity. Pretty sure it protects you from getting killed as well
My strategy with the legendary bounty cooldowns is this: try to get owlhoot family to maximum difficulty for the most payout. Since the targets are spread out a bit, it will take time to complete this mission, this will come into play later. After the bounty you will be on cooldown, but hopefully earned a good bit of cash. Next, load up a call to arms match and play that, if you do decent and last long enough, not only will you earn a good bit of cash, but now the legendary bounties will be off cooldown and call to arms will be for 30 mins. Do owlhoot family again and make sure to take your time travelling to destinations and killing off guards of the different targets so you take up time. Once you’re finished with the bounty, call to arms will be off cool down and you can go do that and earn more money. Once you get to 5 star owlhoot, you will be able to make upwards of 180$ per play through and if you can survive all call to arms rounds, up to 800$. That’s my strat, just rinse and repeat. I’m not sure if this applies to every because I got the prestigious license pretty quick so I’m not sure if this is the same for players without it
So much work When you get more money easier doing collector sets three pentacles,swords and heirlooms with moonshiner and trader running in the background will make you over 1000+ 😂
If you're looking for gold in the bounty hunter role, you should bring them in at 4:30 instead of 0:30 since the gold is .24 after 4:30 and you only get $2 and 100 xp more for waiting those 4 minutes extra
@@Danno5894 yeah I thought the gold payout were fixed, but today for example I returned 1 out of six people dead when the game said dead bounties would be useless, got miniscule xp and money but got .42 gold bars lmao, but I'm pretty sure the gold payout still caps at 4.30

Yeah, tbh it's kinda stupid that Rockstar makes you wait longer in order to get the maximum award, but I understand that it's because they wanna make the game annoyingly grindy so that you just say fuck it and buy microtransactions. After everything they've done with GTA I don't put them above it

What i usually do is a legendary bounty near a town like tumbleweed then while the legendary bounty timer goes down i do the infamous bounties while i wait
How about a video on actually doing bounties? I’m not fond of the bounties where you have to search for the bounty as if it’s an animal you’re tracking. Also the mobile bounties, where they might slip out the back of a gunfight.

Thinking of buying Red Dead Online in 2023 I heard loads of modders and Hackers are ruining the lobbies now Is it still worth it my guys? I really need some advices
I have started online around may of 2023 and I didn't encounter many hackers/modders (only 2) but the amount of them probably depend on your platform (I don't know if there's cross play). If you find a hacker/modder, you could just switch session. I really like since I have been a huge fan of the story and it was nice to see many characters return in the online version. I think you should buy it if you have any friend's that play or if you want to play with friends because it's not as fun solo.

Turn in your missions around the 9-12 minute mark for the modt efficient payout of money and xp ( 9 minutes ) and squeezing out all the gold you can (12 minutes turn in.) ive been doing this and im level 25 in RDO have all the guns i need and rank 8 BH

anyone else have an issue where an outlaw will suddenly vanish even when standing very near them during a gang shootout? no trace of them on map. this has happened several times in different bounty missions over last couple of days. i also find that they can escape easily from the upgraded lasso (hogtie and stowed). it all seems a bit broken.

You click options on playstation to pause the game then you click on progress. It should show roles in the middle and if you click on that then it should show you all your role levels. I apologize if this isn't what you were talking about

Hey all. I'm very new to RDO. and Ive watched several videos now from what guns to buy to horses. And all the recommend items I've gotten most of them for free. Like pump shot gun, varmit rifle and the Breton horse for bounty hunter. I just want to let someone now about this. Is my version of the game different I play on Xbox
2 things.... im only bounty rank 13 and have standard and prestigeous licenses. So im lost on how you have to be 20 too get it. Unless hes talking about normal rank 20. And ive never had a long cool down for prestigeous bounties. You do 1, then do a normal one fast and go back and it allows you to do a prestigeous again that simple.
I can make like 10,000 a day with bounty hunter role that’s how I get a lot of my money so if your starting the game get bounty hunting role and do the gene beau finley

How do you a bounty with more than 2 bounty's solo???? I lose the bounty with 1 target sometimes bq i love the action and forget the timer, and if i got 4 i am afraid i lose them all. Any tips are welkom , it my last role to max out .
There is 1 thing that keeps kicking my ass in this. Etta doyle 2 star gave me $214, great, 3 star game me $75, less why? 4 star gave me $350+, outstanding, but 5 star gave me $25? I am not even joking

So has any of this been patched? I’ve been playing RDo for the past 3 days after work, I have yet to do a bounty that has an actual timer on screen, and when I try to take my time or loot enemies or even slow walk my horse to the jail, the whole mission just ends abruptly and my bounty just falls off my horse and lays on the floor. Happened 5 times now, 6 mins ago being the 5th time
Was only dead eye the same as in single player, that would made it so much easier.... Plus the bounties seem to have all huge groups of over powered gunman arround them, yesterday i shot one in the face with my revolver with express ammo and the dude was not dead. I call that a broken system. I find it rather difficult to capture a 1 dollar bounty, 9 out of 10 times i have to kill them too.... Same as with those free roam camps that are under attack. 2 gunman on horses are running arround the camp, well lets help, and suddenly a whole village of gunslingers appears out of nowhere, with 100% fail, every single time. Just as a NPC shoots you in the face and insta kill you, distance is no issue here.... Unless you do the same to them, the bullets do nothing.
The reason why Dead Eye isn't the same in Red Dead Online is because you're online and it'd be impossible to slow down time, because there are other players. Also partially because it'd be way too op anyways.

The upgraded lasso is also a necessary purchase as it will keep any hogties from breaking out nearly as easily, and same for lassoed animals

Tbh, I find that a lot of the bounty enemies have antique alc or wild flowers on them
Works great in theory but weird ass people that just like shooting at randoms ruin your “other activities”

Just bought the lvl 20 Moonshiner Norfolk Roadster and its amazing!

The Mustang is cheaper and has great stats. Only 500 bucks, plus insurance.

Until bounty hunting level 3 or 4, you can't spot them. You'll have to use your map. After that you can spot them in eagle eyes mode.

I heard loads of modders and Hackers are ruining the lobbies now
Is it still worth it my guys? I really need some advices
I have started online around may of 2023 and I didn't encounter many hackers/modders (only 2) but the amount of them probably depend on your platform (I don't know if there's cross play). If you find a hacker/modder, you could just switch session.
I really like since I have been a huge fan of the story and it was nice to see many characters return in the online version.
I think you should buy it if you have any friend's that play or if you want to play with friends because it's not as fun solo.
Great video bro! But I have a problem with the payouts because I noticed that lately I have been getting paid only 8$ for a $$ bounty mission. I also turned the bounty in alive! I don't know if I'm doing something wrong because just about a week ago, I was earning 40$-70$ per bounty mission. Today I even got paid 3$ for a $ mission. I'm trying to find answers lol.
Maybe your going to fast
bounty hunter had a 3x bonus last month, and also you must be entering too fast like the guy said above, if you deliver with 30 seconds left you will earn more
Turn in your missions around the 9-12 minute mark for the modt efficient payout of money and xp ( 9 minutes ) and squeezing out all the gold you can (12 minutes turn in.) ive been doing this and im level 25 in RDO have all the guns i need and rank 8 BH

i’ve never understood why you can’t use a horse and bounty wagon at the same time, like, you can’t even whistle for the bounty wagon, so what’s the point?

Just start a 30 min timer on your phone once you have loaded into the mission
idk if it’s just me being stupid but with the normal bounty hunter license, i don’t get 3 different posters. each with more money, they are all the same and they gave next to no money. the 3 different posters are shown at 2:24 if you’re confused with that i’m saying
I think you need the prestigious bounty Hunter license to get three poster with different money signs (I'm not sure though). I think otherwise you get different poster with only one dollar icon

anyone else have an issue where an outlaw will suddenly vanish even when standing very near them during a gang shootout? no trace of them on map. this has happened several times in different bounty missions over last couple of days. i also find that they can escape easily from the upgraded lasso (hogtie and stowed). it all seems a bit broken.
im new to rdr2O, how do I check my role level, you know how ppl say “you jabs to be so and so level to unlock this item” yea..how do I check my level on a role (im on PlayStation)
You click options on playstation to pause the game then you click on progress. It should show roles in the middle and if you click on that then it should show you all your role levels. I apologize if this isn't what you were talking about

There's only 1 horse to use in this game and that is the Missourri Foxtrotter with the Upland saddle and hooded stir-ups.

Ive done all bounty missions to atleast the 3rd difficulty theees like 4 fully finished
2 things.... im only bounty rank 13 and have standard and prestigeous licenses. So im lost on how you have to be 20 too get it. Unless hes talking about normal rank 20. And ive never had a long cool down for prestigeous bounties. You do 1, then do a normal one fast and go back and it allows you to do a prestigeous again that simple.

About the horses, I've not got a roll horse, Ive got a Mustang, but it's stats are better than yours when you showed you riding it 😅
I was able to become prestigious bounty hunter around level 3 or 4, didn’t have to be level 20..
Me not knowing how to bounty hunt yet im a level 30 In the bounty hunter role and I did it in less then 2 weeks
Who wants to help me I started yesterday and bought the small gold bar bundle so my weapons arnt that good and I carry on failing my bounties (ps5)

When you compare each role's best payments and time consuming - which is the best ? I want the mpst money and spend less time on doing that
the only problem with summoning the hunting wagon is it will make your horse flee this could be a problem if you have a bounty on the back of it
I can make like 10,000 a day with bounty hunter role that’s how I get a lot of my money so if your starting the game get bounty hunting role and do the gene beau finley

They’re both pretty much the same. The only difference is the Missouri Fox Trotter tends to get really nervous and buck you off more often
I like the longer time = greater reward setting, it is as such my life, clients think my job is easy and refuse to pay in full price when I did it efficiently and effectively, I can only claim my full pay when I did it otherwise.

How do you a bounty with more than 2 bounty's solo????
I lose the bounty with 1 target sometimes bq i love the action and forget the timer, and if i got 4 i am afraid i lose them all.
Any tips are welkom , it my last role to max out .
I usually kill bounties that shoot at me or try to harm civilians, but I'll bring in bounties that surrender or run alive

There is 1 thing that keeps kicking my ass in this. Etta doyle 2 star gave me $214, great, 3 star game me $75, less why? 4 star gave me $350+, outstanding, but 5 star gave me $25? I am not even joking

allways the same mistake, you can die.... but than you have now just to restart at checkpoint!!! if you restart the whole mission the time is also resetted, just test it.... ✌good grind
Yeah it's annoying. The best thing to do is not die but I know that's easier said than done

when i had the bounty i was waiting so i get more reward but then a times appeared and when it ran out i lost the mission
So has any of this been patched? I’ve been playing RDo for the past 3 days after work, I have yet to do a bounty that has an actual timer on screen, and when I try to take my time or loot enemies or even slow walk my horse to the jail, the whole mission just ends abruptly and my bounty just falls off my horse and lays on the floor. Happened 5 times now, 6 mins ago being the 5th time
I got my bounty to $20 and NPCs bounty hunters came and killed me, what the hell?

Was only dead eye the same as in single player, that would made it so much easier....
Plus the bounties seem to have all huge groups of over powered gunman arround them, yesterday i shot one in the face with my revolver with express ammo and the dude was not dead.
I call that a broken system. I find it rather difficult to capture a 1 dollar bounty, 9 out of 10 times i have to kill them too....
Same as with those free roam camps that are under attack. 2 gunman on horses are running arround the camp, well lets help, and suddenly a whole village of gunslingers appears out of nowhere, with 100% fail, every single time. Just as a NPC shoots you in the face and insta kill you, distance is no issue here....
Unless you do the same to them, the bullets do nothing.
The reason why Dead Eye isn't the same in Red Dead Online is because you're online and it'd be impossible to slow down time, because there are other players. Also partially because it'd be way too op anyways.
Just do moonshine missions and not bother anybody but theres those people just looking for trouble
