Laura I think for me personally it’s more of the fact that she got engaged, married, and then left the band, all within like 6 months. That’s a lot.
EDIT: Unlike other people in these comments, I’m not judging her...She can do whatever she likes, and I support that. But as a fan, it’s a little worrisome to see her make so many big changes, so fast...because ultimately I just want her to be happy/successful. I’m excited to see her thrive in this new life she’s creating for herself! And if God forbid something goes wrong along the way, I hope she feels comfortable speaking out about it to us...But based on how invasive some of these comments are getting, I don’t blame her for wanting privacy.
@Laura But why not invite your sisters?? They are family. None of them follow her fiance on IG apart from Kristina. None of them liked her marriage announcement. Tbh I think because she's very religious and how it's marriage before sex, she just wants to loose it (virginity). I think she may think of it as a bonus, not the entire point. I just hope she thinks through this marriage thing before jumping into conclusions or making rash decisions. No hate tho.. it's her choice. I love her no matter.
Edit: I’m not judging her. I simply questioning what are her reasons behind it. I think we need some sort of clarity. Chasing her dreams is actually fine but concerning the marriage part, I hope she is making the right decision. She still has time to get to know the person (Emnyn I that’s how it’s spelt). I know she wants to get married young but rushing into a marriage can be anything but good. I want her to reflect and to think of it’s really a good choice, for her and her future career. I’ll love her regardless. Some of you in the comments act like I’m not supposed to have an opinion which is absurd. Even though I’m a fan (as I have been for many years) it doesn’t mean I shouldn’t want the best for her.
I said the same thing!! Like all of a sudden she’s leaving after she got married and stuff. I feel like her husband has a lot to do with why she left. I could be wrong, but that’s just what I feel. When she cries, it seems like she doesn’t want to leave. Idk I think it was too much too fast. I have a feeling she’ll be back. If not I hope she does amazing though.

The problem is not her leaving cimorelli. The problem is that everything leading up to her leaving has been a trail of red flags. She started stepping back from her family once emmyn got in the picture.

This is exactly what the issue is. She felt like she was outgrowing the band, didn't see herself doing it forever, and wanted to make her own RUclips content. So what. The problem is exactly what you said...a very clear separation happened between her and her family when he entered the picture. Most of us have followed them for years and it was so evident and obvious. This just felt like a coverup

Yea they went on a family vacation she didnt go, Christina announced her pregnancy dani wasnt there, he might not be physically abusing her but mentally probably trying to.make her feel bad for wanting to spend more time with them instead of him. His family planned the wedding to not have her family or sisters so the whole family seems off.

Someone that claimed to know Emmyn said that he doesn’t like her family. Obviously, we don’t really know if that’s true, but I thought it was worthy mentioning.
I also get those vibes. He doesn’t even follow most of her family and he never followed the band page. Who wouldn’t follow the band page that their girlfriend/wife is in, especially when the band is comprised of her sisters? It’s just all fishy to me.

I get people are hardcore fans and really care about her, but seriously people need to chill with the accusations. More than likely all this is is her wanting her OWN life. Like she said in the video, this was never something she wanted to do forever and she continued to blow off leaving the group for years. Maybe meeting her now husband is what truly made her decide once and for all to do something different. New apartment, new husband who she will build a life with, and deciding on a career. Basically an entirely new path to follow. Non of that is strange. People are reading into things too deeply.

I'm watching this now and reading the comments...man, everyone was so wrong about their relationship. He brings out the best in her (and vice versa) and it seems like she is finally able to live her life doing what she loves.

I can't believe how mean and judging some of the comments under this video are. And in the answers they get affirmation instead of reflecting on the fact, that the people really just don't know everything about Dani's life and are thus not at all in the position to judge her marriage so early on.
And now look at them: Dani and Emmyn seem so happy together despite all the criticism and judgement back then.

Summary: Dani is not passionate about the band but music and singing. Cimorelli took her a lot of time (organization, recording, editing). Dani wanted to go to university since 2016 but she couldn't go for the band so that's why she leaves Cimorelli

Deep down we all saw this coming. Since she started dating Emmyn she also started moving away from what Cimorelli represents. She got married so young and so fast, no pictures of the wedding with her sisters, no messages or posts from her family, nothing. She has now a channel with Emmyn, she’s posting a lot, she’s even saying she’s gonna continue music. I don’t know. She was no longer reflecting what Cimorelli stands for and she’s now her own person, for better or for worse. Wishing her best of lucks and good vibes! ❤️

Dani, if you're genuinely happy with this marriage and find comforting in Emmyn, then it's 100% alright. But if it's not and if you're feeling not as calm and happy as before, then it's OKAY to walk away from him. You're going to have to spend the rest of your life with him, and i don't know the 'true' him so i'm not going to judge. It's okay to walk away. My mom always said this to me when talking about marriage, even if it's the day before marriage, the day of the marriage, or after, if you feel like he's not the one and if you want to go back to how it was, then it's OKAY to give up what's on with you right now and come back. This is the best comment I have read. Most off well all of the comments are saying mean things about her husband, and you genuinely giving her support and words of comfort. Thank you for not judging her. I agree with you. I think it's her life, her decision, if she is truly happy then I'm happy, but if there is a proble, keep your faith and take it to God, because he always got your back.
Thank you for your uplifting and supportive comment, it's refreshing compared to the others. I agree, we don't know him and we don't actually get to see what her life looks like so no one can say that it's all bad or that any of it is bad honestly. We don't see everything that happens in her life and with the family etc. So the best we can do is support her journey and send love her way. :)

To everyone who is pointing out her tics. I have Tourette’s I know how she feels with her tics. But when someone points them out they get worse. Also when someone is stressed or emotional or even anxious they can be more pronounced. Just ignore the tics. They are a part of who she is and it’s a part of who I am. Tics don’t define you. But thank you Dani for telling us about this emotional time in your life. And don’t worry girl, yours don’t seem as bad as mine get, I yell and fling my head and even do strange hand things. Can I just say to all the people dragging her marriage into this: people CHANGE. Especially when you get married. You have your own life, new goals, a place to care for...etc. If staying in the band wasn't her passion, now is the PERFECT time to switch careers. It's so much easier. It's just a career change, people do it all the time. She's an adult, let her be. She is finally doing what she wants to do and that's beautiful! (P.S. graphic design is a huge career path with many opportunities)
NO ONE is "dragging" her marriage. We're all literally concerned. All the career pathway changes stuff that you're saying is fine. She is so close to her sisters so it's a bit difficult to understand why they weren't at her wedding.
I totally agree with you! It annoys me so much how people say their are concern when they are only dragging them. If you care about someone there are better ways to do it than just writing a shitty comment. Anyways, Dani has a family, Dani has friends and they can tell them, what they think, probably knowing lot more than us. Additionally, we have NO idea whether or not her family supported her and Emmyn. I think all responsible parents would be concerned about their daughter getting married at 19, but that doesn't mean they didn't like or don't support Emmyn. Dani is an individual with her own mind and a bright spirit - if you're a real fan you have to know that she is a big girl who can make her own decisions, and I highly doubt she'd ever let a man walk all over her when she was raised with morals, integrity, and strength in her faith. So let's put a little more faith back into her and trust that she's doing what she feels is best instead of passing judgment on things that we aren't fully present for to know. Sis. I’ve seen these types of relationships before. She rushed because she’s a Christian and because she didn’t know what else to do. And sadly, in every case of this I’ve seen, the girl always ends up unhappy in a few years. This will not end pretty. Neither she nor her husband are emotionally mature enough for marriage.

As someone who's been following Cimorelli for about 9 years, I was shocked and sad at the initial announcement. But I also look forward to where life is going to lead all of them.

I agree this is seemingly strange, you see the other marriages of her sisters they had both sides but not here I think I'm going to investigate this further and see what can be done. Everybody please keep your toxic assumptions to yourselves. Check out her RUclips account, she talked about her past in one video and in the other videos you can see that she's happy. She had somewhat restrictions when being in the band like not cursing etc. Now she does a lot of sustainability content and she really enjoys doing that. Please for her happiness keep your opinions and assumptions to yourself.

I think when she’s anxious they act up more, me & my brother have tics and they act up when in an anxious situation/when something is hard to talk about.

I just want to hop on to say if your watch Dani's personal channel this all makes sense and has nothing to do with Emmyn. They are actually great together. She went through a transformation personally with her life and beliefs. This was much longer before her marriage. She is happy and is living her best life.

I’ve been watching Cimorelli since 2010. I’ve always had a feeling you’d be the first but let’s be honest here. You’re all getting older, Cimorelli will not last forever. I love all of you but nobody owes anyone an explanation. You’re all going to do amazing things no matter what, y’all are an amazingly talented family. people do need to back off. its more then just her leaving she's doing something that makes her happy, sure she loved singing but she loves graphic design SO MUCH more, and its obvious she is a thriving queen now

I don't think you'll ever see this but if you do I want you to know that like most people who watched your video I fully support your decision. Being a 20-year old College student myself (I'm in Nursing school) I understand what you're going through (in the sense of finding your career path and basically figuring out your whole life). I wish you the best of luck in your design career and just know (if you don't already :) ) that even if you fail once or twice (or more haha) don't give up! And just know that if you want something hard enough it will be OK in the end even if it takes longer or whatever!
Your 20 so if in a year or even a decade you find yourself not wanting to do design anymore! You can literally ALWAYS change career paths if you just want something hard enough.

When I first knew you were leaving the band I was shook but now I feel proud of you, being brave enough to leave not only a career but a life style that longed 10 years to follow you real passion.

We're the same, Dani. I'm very talented in playing piano and drawing. Everybody since I was so little told me that I absolutely HAD to have a career in one of them, like attend conservatory or art school. But somehow I KNEW these were, of course, things that made me happy, but they were not the reason I'm in this world. They just weren't. And I know drawing and music will always follow me wherever I go, but they're my "second". My first is medicine. I realized I wanted to be a psychiatrist when I was 14, and everybody was so confused: why don't you choose the "easier" path, the one you have a talent in? Because I KNOW music will always be with me, it will always make me happy, but it's not my job: it's what I do when I get home after work and relax.
So I attended med school and I was so full of doubts: what if I fail and regret that I didn't choose music or art? And med school wasn't easy AT ALL, I failed so many times. But after all I did it, I graduated! and now I can't wait to be a psychiatrist.
You're on the right path Dani, keep up with it. ❤️
babe, you decided to try something new and that's so hard especially when you grew up with it. There will be so much joy in your future now that you've decided to put you ahead of the band. You've been brave to try what will make you happy. Doors haven't closed, you are smart, you are talented, you've got your head on your shoulders and I know you will figure out what you want to do one step at a time.

Wow, I'm shocked at all the comments tearing down her marriage, all of it pure and unsubstantiated speculation. Sure, she's obviously torn about leaving the band behind (I felt it, too, when my band broke up), but that doesn't mean she's being abused or coerced. THAT kind of tabloid talk is toxic. Exactly. I saw a lot of comments saying that he is using her for clout, but that doesn’t even make sense because they seem really happy when they’re together. Why would he marry her for clout? That seems like too much because if Dani somehow stops being so well known, he would be stuck with someone he doesn’t like. No one would go that far for clout that might eventually fall apart, so he must actually love her.

i came back to this after all this happened. i feel like Emmyn took Dani away from her family. she wasn't there with Katherine when she picked her wedding dress or with Christina for her baby shower. its also scary cause Emmyn's first girlfriend was Dani and he married her just like that.

What most people don’t understand is that you’re being realistic about your future. Bands end, singing careers don’t always last forever. No need for an explanation, you are being smart and looking out for your future and no one should be mad about it. Good luck on your journey dani! Dani, even though I don't know you, I'm really proud of you. You left a very successful and fun career to follow your passion. You also got married at a young age before most of your siblings. Just from reading the comments, people clearly don't know what it's like to have a mind of their own. But you do. The average person would have just kept on in the band either because they would be afraid of failing on their own or because they were just following their sisters. But you didn't. You chose a long-term path that you knew was best for you. Thank you for being brave enough to do that. There's a lot of young people that look up to you and are watching what you do. Even if for some reason it doesn't work out, you're showing them it's important to take risks in order to grow in life. You're awesome🤘🏻
