I think, that one specific corner-piece is specifically for "inner corners" like, if the tower-corner-piece is for 90 degree angle changes, the other one is for 270 degree changes
As someone who enjoys building but its complete garbage at it, I hope some people are willing to create these building kits for more scenery and with more variation. Having these would make me actually feel like my builds aren't just a dirt house lol
I had no idea about this. This is actually going to help me tremendously with what I’m working on, because I’m using two modules for my whole building.
Thanks Jonny and Chant! Yesterday I was literally trying to find videos on how to use snap guides and lo and behold you guys release a video! These will be a game changer for sure in terms of efficiency and building.
I saw the snap kits and was trying to figure out what they were but I was too excited about the coaster changes to put time into it... now I know what I'll be messing with tonight, lol.
Oh man, this gets me excited. I haven't played the game in years, but I have followed the channel and enjoyed the content. I just might get on Planet Coaster 2 and retry my hand at the sci-fi park I was working on. Thanks for the video!
6:52 Or change the roof ornament points / shields, in order to create something from different cultures. Like, from Viking to Mongol/Pre or Rural Dynasty China. Reminds me about Ghost Of Tshushima.
I was having trouble today as well. GeForce had an update yesterday, and after I installed it, the snap edges worked better. But while this was a fix for me, I don’t think it worked for a buddy of mine…. Worth a try, though!
@@chant5379 Thanks! I did update to the new all in one Nvidia app and updated my graphics driver. Still no luck. When I have one group selected it won't even acknowledge the other group exists. Just goes right through the other parts. I can manually slide it into the approximate place so that it looks good, but this defeats the purpose of the snapping kits. I'm wondering if there are some specific settings that need to be changed on my end so I can attach building group A to group B.
@@dustinthewind8620 Dang... I was hoping that would do the trick! I know that this has been reported to Frontier as a bug-I hope it is resolved soon so that we can all use the snap edges as intended. In the meantime, I hope you are having fun with the game!
@@chant5379 great to hear that Frontier is aware and looking into it. The creativity these tools allow is limitless. The wall build is so simple, yet such a timesaver for the average user. And the adorable bunny kit, I never would have thought to utilize those tools in that manner. Awesome creativity! Other than spending way too much time on this minor issue, yes, I'm having a blast in the new game. Keep up the great content. So appreciated!
Oo I saw the snap edge things yesterday and was trying to find out what there for this is brilliant! We need a snap kit competition now to get loads on the workshop 😂 this is will be such a time saver for the console players to
The legacy of a console player that has never heard of this channel utilizing and loving the items created from a contest here is such a cool thing to ponder.
I now really want someone to make the Advisor Ant from Theme Park Worlds. I have made it my goal to recreate my favorite childhood theme park game in PC2.
A 160 piece item is what is wrong with this game. There needs to be a way to combine them all into one object. If there are portions of an object that will NEVER be seen once the item is built then there is no reason to keep track of that hidden data and should be removed. Only the areas that are visible should be drawn and kept data for.
Everything i showcase is for both PC and Console. The frontier workshop is cross platform. The codes for todays creations (in the description) should work on your console!
While some may be complaining about some flaws in the current build of the game. Frontier is a dedicated and passionate gam dev team, patches are on the way, content is on it's way. The current game is great, and only going to get better every week.
The idea is for quick customization and perfect placement! In my opinion, snap kits work best with lots of options to choose from. You can always eyeball the pieces and put them together, but the snap edges in the game should expedite that process and result in exact alignment.
Planet Coaster 1 was a single core processing game, I believe 2 utilizes multicore processing. IT should in theory run better! It's something on my todo list is just duplicate a million items and see how many pieces it takes to drop the frame rate. In planet coaster 1, it seemed like on a super high end computer going beyond 200,000 pieces would drop you below 30fps. Anything below 30fps starts to ruin the experience. However that being said, 200,000 pieces is a LOT to work with and you can make some amazing parks and rides with that much.
@@Channel5Gaming How many pieces was Candyland? If I remember correctly you could only open one section at a time to guests for the final video or it would drop to like 4fps.
The snap kit concept is HUGE for the future of dark rides in this game, thanks for this showcase Jonny and Chant!
Yes, inspired me to make my own snap kit. Have been working hard for the past 24 hrs grinding my pwn
The build a bunny is crazy creative! Wow!
Zip a dee doo dah, zippidee ayyy, my oh my what a wonderful set of animatronics!

The bunny is AMAZING! The whole snap kit idea is great!
Feel like ppl complaining since they simply dont know how the game works. Vids like this are great
^ This ^
People are complaining it is very hard to understand how the game works. Also many things don"t work.
WOW, these custom animatronics are going to change the way people build completely. There are so many new things in planco 2 i didn't even know about!
Both of those kits are amazing! Thanks for sharing the instructional.
Great quality of life additions!

Loving the game so far. My youngest just wishes there was oriental pieces.
I've started creating some oriental buildings with what we have.
I love those little bee's ! :O
Simply Amazing! This will completely change how everyone play this game! Make a Ton of these please!
People that were too intimidated to attempt builds my be enticed to play now.
Excited to try building snap kits. Chant this build a bunny ia 👏 brilliant idea.
I’m so excited for the future of ride recreations!!
Wow! This game gets more and more interesting! Snap kits is an AWESOME idea! :)
That bunny is so freaking awesome 😂💚 amazing job chant
this game is amazing, so much we haven't discovered yet
I believe the corner you keep saying is wrong or needs to be fixed is meant to be an interior corne, the banked wall should be to the outside
Absolutely awesome, having a go at building animatronics myself but that bunny looks amazing🤩
I can see people making complete coaster train snapkits! What an awesome feature!
I can already envision a LEGO WORLD snap kit.
Gonna have to give that bunny his own log flume attraction!
if you do send it in titled builda a bunny log flume and ill feature it! :D

I see animated Pink Penguins incoming! 🤣
"Hey-o my Planet Coaster *Two* friends, I am Johnny5Alive here..."
So now you need to customize your script between the two versions.
The bunny is Bre'r Rabbit from Splash Mountain!!
Yes!! 😄Long live Br'er Rabbit! (And Splash Mountain!) 🐰🦊🐻
Amazing work, Chant!
This is just amazing. All the potential!
Thanks for this, I was genuinely struggling to figure out some of the new dynamics
I’d love to use this feature to make animatronic sharks for something like the jaws ride
the bunny won my subscription. just wow. itslike brei rabbit and nestle quick bunny did what bunnies.. nvm you get it😂

Love the bunnies
Very very kewl!
I didn’t know they added snap kit for this new game. Though, we do missed Splash Mountain due to racism problems.
That isn't a "racism" problem, it is a busy-body snowflake problem.

Do you do this stuff for consoles

Still on the fence about buying this. Pros and cons? I am on pc using an Xbox controller.
I'd say wait for a bit for some updates to come in as the current version is still missing some important pieces
Cons- Its new and has bugs Pros- Will be updated for years and years. Frontier listens to the community.

I'm missing the point here. I downloaded the viking snap kit, removed the magnets and was still able to do the same thing. Someone help me understand.
A bit more playing around and not all pieces line up without the snap edges. I get it now. Looks like I'm building this way from now on.

video hard carried by the bunny stuff
Jonny I have to say Splash Mountain has been changed to something new it’s called Tiana's Bayou Adventure and it has been opened about two weeks ago.
Is the performance better? You couldn't build a mega park last game and have a good frame rate. Really turned me off of playing after a while.
Yes.
