This reminds me of my childhood when I would go to local Irish music sessions all the time with my dad! The concertina is such a fun little treat to learn. Enjoy it!!!
Love the Anglo Concertina, I also have a Wren and have had it for some years now. Amazing starter anglo and this is an amazing performance!! glad to see Anglo Concertinas getting love!!!
@@henryscott3276 I really like it as a starter for getting into Anglo as for its price it is a pretty good instrument. However that being said it is 100% a beginner to early intermediate instrument so it has certain limitations like using accordion reeds and sometimes keys can stick if you consistently hit them at an off angle. As well as the pleather straps on mine have started to tear. TLDR: Would recommend as a beginner instrument but they have limitations
Louie, this is amazing! If this is the kind of thing we get to see when you buy instruments on a whim, I'd love to see you when you've added this to your already huge repertoire!
This feels like it would be wonderful for a scene in a show or movie where characters are going traveling or doing tasks laughing without any dialogue. Just music
Brings to mind the ocean, sailing o’er the raging main on a tall ship, one of the great clippers sailing long distances carrying bulk cargoes to who knows where, following the trade winds. The danger of encountering a storm, and the fear of going around Cape Horn. Of the relief on making it to Port Stanley after a treacherous rounding of the Horn from ports in South and Southeast Asia
perfect timing lol, i was going to have a concertina x) i just messaged my uncle two days ago to ask him if i can take his concertina to learn how to play it... Guess this will be the first song i'm gonna learn
If you haven’t already, check out the movie Call of the Wild, the music sounds a lot like this and it’s about a sled dog going on an adventure. (I haven’t seen it so I have no idea if it’s actually good but the music’s by John Powell and he never misses.)
This song is like the definition of English/Irish folk music. The genre Bluegrass has it's roots in that as well but it focuses more on stringed instruments. Check out the bands Wayward Jane and Flats & Sharps.
I’d like to recommend the band Talisk! I just recently got into their music, and it’s very similar to this sound. (Concertina, fiddle, acoustic guitar are their primary instruments.) I’d suggest starting with the album Beyond for a sound closest to this track.
hi i'm a new follower :D i'm so happy i've found ur ytb channel but i wanted to find it early so bad, hey we need a special song: Jazz version in the video " a thing about chords"❤❤
Havent watched it yet, but im just sure it will be wonderful! Also whats your favorite brand of peanut butter? Edit: just finished watching it, pretty cool, RPG vibes, another great one!
I'm gonna need a 10 hour version of this for ttrpg tavern music 💜
I like the way this guy thinks
A bard that played the concertina was one of my earliest D&D concepts.
This reminds me of my childhood when I would go to local Irish music sessions all the time with my dad! The concertina is such a fun little treat to learn. Enjoy it!!!

I'm thinking about getting a wren 2 as I'm currently only on a 40-key, is it worth it? How do you like it?

This sounds like the kind of video game background music that’s so good, you can’t find the strength to leave the area it’s playing in

!!! ANOTHER CONCERTINA PLAYER HAS BEEN FOUND! Love this song bud gonna add it to my show set list right away
This is fantastic, I would never guess that you hadn't been playing it for a long time already.
My goodness, my favorite artist playing my favorite instrument in my favorite genre. This is the best thing ever!
This is so relaxing and healing for me.❤
This legit makes me want to learn an instrument again that's so cool. I love this I want it playing as I embark on an adventure.
WE MAKIN IT OUT THE SHIRE W THIS ONE 🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
this made me feel distressing amounts of melancholic yearning
As a accordion lover, i aprecciat that, ik it a concertina, but its very similar, just a accordion but the right leys are the left keys as well
This feels like it would be wonderful for a scene in a show or movie where characters are going traveling or doing tasks laughing without any dialogue. Just music
Like Wind Song, this is perfect listening for sailing a small boat on a little lake
Good fantasy anime establishing shots vibes
That was beautiful! Thank you for sharing this with us!
All we need now is good lyrics and a dance

One of your best Louie! Wow. Thank you!
an adventurer going on quest 🗡️
If I were a mouse, I'd take up my grandfather's sword and go on a quest.

I love this melody so much, I've been listening to it on repeat for a while now, thank you for putting this out into the world
Oh hey! I just got an accordion too! I've been absolutely loving it~
i fully thought i accidentally put on my yuru camp soundtrack in the background again, this is such a nice, atmospheric song!
this song makes me wish I had a flock of goats to go take care of in a big field
Lovely ❤️
Louie Zong my beloved,,,,,,,
I want to see a some sort of jolly animal going on an adventure with this tune playing!

This is the perfect music for a dnd campaign ngl
I need more of Anglo Concertina waltzes!! :)
Double-tracked concertina wasn't on my bingo card today but I'm very glad to have experienced it
Hope to see more convertina music in the future. Maybe some jazzy stuff, I feel like that'd work really well.
I really needed this today.
I've been playing Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze recently and man, this would fit right in. So chill and countrylike!
did anyone else get roller coaster tycoon/planet coaster vibes from this?
It's feels very shanty-like, I can kinda hear the lyrics in the back of my head?
❤
This is amazing I hope you one day post sheet music!
I love you!
What genre of music would this be under? I'm always on the lookout for songs with this vibe but I never know how to describe it or what to look up.
Feels like folk music to me

God, I love accordions. So underrated :> It sounds so sick, you sound like you've been playing it for a while, it's so nice!
it is in the same family but concertinas are not accordions! but they are both QUITE under utilized in most genres, yes! such a lovely rich sound!
@@boxofswords Thanks for telling me!
Ooh, it's a McNeela Wren, nice choice! :)
i just found mr Zong again after being obsessed with him years ago. very nicce
this actually has MAJOR Vindsvept or other medieval styled music composer vibes
This song feels like a hug and dance with/from loved ones 🥺💜💚
PLease write some reels and some jigs. I PROMISE you, they will be playyed all across pirate festivals!
Just bought a Wren concertina myself. Keen to play stuff like this.
It reminded me of some Bluey OSTs. Really beautiful piece!
Love this new tune, i have had one of these for years and never learned to play it
Is there anything he CAN’T play?
Repeat. Simply, on repeat. It goes on my metaphorical Pintrest wedding board :.0
So you can't play low notes repeatedly or you'll run out of air?
Amazing, you have a great talent
