I want to encourage my subbies to find peace and relaxtion in Christ Jesus.
As much as I have enjoyed Gym Chalk ASMR, I have also found no peace in this hobby. I constantly think about how I’m impacting people.
I have prayed for clarity and have found no peace in my heart regarding Gym Chalk ASMR.
I have seen some comments from watchers of Gym Chalk ASMR say that they are ‘hypnotised’, spending a lot of time watching asmr and addicted to watching to these type of videos. On top of that, some watchers blasphem and liken certain videos to ‘heavenly’.
This is truly saddening. Yes, we can indulge to satisfy, however it becomes a problem when it’s something you go to, to habitally to ease yourself.
Gym Chalk ASMR is an idol in so many watchers and partakers lives.
Whilst it may not be a sin to watch or parttake in ASMR, it’s a hinderance because it takes away from our time from being in the secret place. (Hebrews 12). Some may ask, what is the secret place? The secret place is time spent with God. The author and the finisher of our faith. In Him and by Him, He has given us authority over sleeplessness, restlessness and anxiety. We should not be turning to ASMR videos to help.
I personally found myself waking up and immediately reaching for my phone to watch a few videos before i started my day. Instead, i should be reaching for my Bible and setting the tone of my day with prayer, with Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. Lol as cheesy as it sounds, God is a God of peace and a sound mind.
He also is a jealous God, we cannot serve 2 masters.
I want to thank you all for joining me on this short and bittersweet journey with Gym Chalk ASMR.

You are right! I’ve recently have been trying this cut back. It was to the point I started neglecting my own small business because I would sit and watch my videos all day. Everything in moderation.
This is why I always mention discipline and going outside etc for walks. This is great for anxiety relief and takes our minds off this cruel world. Everyone has different faith and this is a neutral place for everyone (or should be) but it should be used with discipline. I will continue to encourage my viewers to be more active
So true . I'm so addicted to it that i can't get other things done . When i got things to do and is lazy before i go and do it . I'm sitting watching asmr from day into night. At work i can't stay 1 minute without watching some video , i was trying to balance it u know like ease off too much of it and be more active in other things but it so hard ones u get addicted to it . I guess for me its a good and bad thing 😅😂

I can't agree with you more I feel the same I am so much into ASMR that I'm not able to focus on the important things in my life and end u getting stressed I have 100 of video unwatched saved in my playlist it gives me anxiety feels like when to watch them all and finish it 😢

Just read and OMG noooooo .. what made you get into this hobby? I know I’ve stopped crushing here and there for a break but I haven’t stopped watching and I still and walk through life with the lord. I hate that this hobby hasn’t found you joy, peace or relaxation. God bless you.. terrific video.

Yes correct. Self control is one of the fruits of the spirit. However, that’s not the case for many if not most indulgers of ASMR. Spending hours daily on ASMR is damaging and a hinderance. I don’t want to contribute to that.

You're confusing me a bit? The beginning you hoped we enjoyed this video as much as you did making it.. Then you said you find no please in asmr? I'm confused. I'm a Christian, I don't judge people. I know my personal is so crazy watching some videos is relaxing and helps calm down so I can continue my day. I have called videos heavenly, sure.. I really really don't believe our God cares about language like this. Lol. Like.... duh, I don't actually mean videos are similar to heaven, it's just a nice compliment. At the end of the day you will belive what you do and use your beliefs to defend that. So I'm not quite sure why I'm even commenting this. Maybe so people know not all Christians are similar to that up in the box above...

The truth is I’m human, and the flesh is separate from the spirit. I do enjoy crushing and watching asmr however it doesn’t sit well with my spirit. I constantly question why and who I’m doing this for?
And if I cannot clearly identify who it is serving then I know for sure that it is not of God. For me anyways..
Self gratification isn’t what the word teaches us. The bible says, seek the kingdom of God first and all should be added on to you. That includes a peace of mind. When God blesses you with a something/or just because you are able to do something doesn’t mean it should be done. He adds no sorrow to it to our endeavours.
The gym chalk asmr community is riddled with people who have anxiety, difficulty sleeping and sickness. Why turn to asmr to ease you? And not God? The One who will give us a sound mind, who will take care of our burdens and heal from sickness..
I’m not here to say which Christians this and that, I just want to preach what the bible teaches..

@@hausofchalkasmr I get what you're saying, I really do.. But real life is not that simple. I have a close family friend who leans on God and is extremely close to God.. And she still struggles with mental health and needs helps from things that bring her joy, such as sewing music... I just don't understand why people think that God is all you need to live. Like... Yes he's vital part for many people, but I'm positive he would rather people watching se asmr than pray to him for 3 hours straight begging for calm, rest and a break from mental health issues. It comes down to what you believe God really wants and I personally believe he wants people to help themselves as well as incorporate his teaching and the Bible in living. When you're sad do you just sit and talk with God and nobody else or do you do that and also tlal with close friends! Family?

Struggling is apart of our journey here on earth.. we as Christians should know that in our weakness(es) His strength is made perfect. And it takes people to completely surrender to Him and let know our devices down. I mentioned in the description box that God is a jealous God, and anything that is above Him in our lives draws us further away from Him.
We have to truly seek God. Period. None of this one foot in and the other out.
And yes before I talk to my trusted friends and family I will talk to God first.. in prayer, worship and fasting.
3 hours of prayer is nothing when breaking a spiritual hold! We have to be fervent in prayer!

@@hausofchalkasmr I believe God is one of love, patience and gives grace. I believe he wants people to be happy doing positive, healthy and good(as in thr opposite of evil) activities. People do intperet the Bible differently. I know this personally, as a history/social science teacher and a historian.. So. I VERY respectfully disagree with some aspects - and that's okay! 😊✨🙏🏻
