still watching this 2024 and still get tears in my eyes :(
First time watching this episode and I'm a blubbering mess
Where do we watch all episodes? Please share the link..
this for me is one of lennon’s best scenes in the show. she sings the song with such emotion and sadness, and when she turns around to look at the picture of rayna and bursts into tears. this show deserved so much more. they all deserved so much more as actors.
@Penny Lane! stfu
This was the last episode I watched, I cried so hard, I couldn’t watch anymore. I know it’s just a tv show but the writers worked hard at making us cheer for Deacon and Rayna to get together that it ticked me off that this happened! A good friend of mine keeps bugging me to finish the series, but I don’t want to cry this hard again! 🤣
@@myrnashoults9735 this was definitely such an upsetting storyline... there was definitely plenty of shouting and crying at the television from my house when we were watching it 😭 but even though it might be so hard to picture the show without rayna in it i really do encourage you to finish it, the rest of the show is just as beautiful and well done and i think you should 100% finish it! listen to your friend 😭
@@elliesomers thank you. I am going to starting tonight. I live for this show at 1:00 am! Rayna’s funeral was beautifully done. I don’t think they were acting….I think they were hurting. I loved it when Teddy went to Deacon and made peace. Can’t wait to see the rest of the series.❤️
@@myrnashoults9735 I think you should give it a shot. I love this show and going to watch the whole series over again. My mom died 6 months ago and I played it for her a few times. She loved it and wanted it played at her funeral but my brother said no
the fact that i kept having to remind myself that it’s just acting, really shows how amazing they are
I know me too ahha i felt so heartbroken during this performance.. man they have me hook line and sinker. Great acting
They said they were really grieving the loss of Connie Britton leaving the show so a lot of the pain was very real.
Ikr I just keep crying
this show is amazing
Same here! I’ve already known how their stories end but I’ve been watching it again and I recently started season 5 and it’s after 10AM and I haven’t been to bed just laying crying like a baby!! I know a lot of it is each one of their amazing acting skills coming through and touching my heart by how real and raw it all seems! But a part is also because I lost my own mother in 2015. ...the day my son turned nine years old my very best friend in this whole world my momma passed away! It’s been over five and a half years and any time I see anything about the loss of a mother it breaks me to this day! But I must say Charles Esten, Hayden Panettiere, Clare Bowen, and Lennon and Maisy Stella sure do an absolute stunning job at making it feel so real and heart felt! This part of this episode on particular these three left a lump in my throat...and tears streaming down my face! I loved this show and every single character in it but what I loved most is how relatable it was! These types of things do happen and maybe not to millionaire country singers but to us ordinary people too ;)
And after all this time... I keep on torturing myself rewatching this scene.
Same 😭😭
Same 💔
Same..
Agreed
Same. Such a beautiful song and voices like angels.
God...the most beautiful moment of the whole show...I cry every single time
Linda Scardere me to
Linda Scardere i never understand how some actors can get through certain songs without breaking downn
Me too! But maybe with all the times they had to redo the scene, cameras, and all people in the room it doesn’t feel the same
Showed character for Juliette as well because she let Maddie sing instead of herself.
Me t8
These girls are so incredibly talented and this clip always makes me cry. Lennon singing in the beginning is so beautiful but when Maisy comes in with that a cappella is when I really start to lose it. Will always be a huge fan of these sisters. ❤️
Same here! I can rewatch this every year and still feel the same each time
They sound exactly like I imagine angels.
Not just one of the best scenes from the show, but one of the best scenes in the history of television. There is so much history in the words of that song.
Are they real sisters in real life ?
@@mojothepirateleworthy1054 yes
Still get tears watching this 2024
Cette série est spectaculaire des comédiens et des chanteurs incroyables❤❤❤
they acted the F**k outta this holy s**t. I was not in a sad mood AT ALL and i'm still sobbing like a baby. That is some great work.
Omg yesss
I worked as an extra on all 6 seasons of the show and this scene was so real for all of us. Even we wee background actors felt a part of this thing greater than we were and had a blast.
I have so much more fun when I go to a concert now “in real life” because I was coached on how to smile and clap and sway on this set.
I miss the friends I made in the many hours of “holding” and am so grateful for the moment I took to do a search for “Nashville TV Show extras.”
Fun job!! I'm not a fan of country music and do like to hear one now and then, but when I saw the previews of Nashville, I watched it from the first show. Crazy, bc I loved so many of their songs!! They sounded totally different than typical country. After they killed off Rayna and it became more and more of a soapbox show, I
started losing interest.. Too bad they couldn't have kept the focus on music.
This aired the same week my moma died. Who knew that a television show would give me someone to relate to when I push everyone else away.
Wow I’m truly sorry that you endured this. How amazing synchronicities can be however. Love you! Hugs!
@Dawn Texada Hey Thanks for the consistent love and support, How are you doing now?
Scarlett getting up and clapping when Maddie starts singling again will forever bring me to tears. Beautiful acting, beautiful episode, beautiful show. ❤️
I cannot watch this without turning into a sobbing mess, amazing actors, beautiful performance.
I am exactly the same - yet I keep watching it!!! It's such a beautiful performance, that's why I think.
Lmmfao
I am the same way
I have watched this scene a million times. Each time I cry.
Omg same!! 😔😔
anyone watching this in 2020 still crying? RIP RAYNA!! ❤️
Jip
Me I cry everytime
2021 ... :´-(
2021 and still crying here
✋✋✋😭😭😭😭💔💔💔
How are the Stellas not blowing up the music world? They have the greatest harmony's and arrangements.
Lennon has quite a well established pop career
they don't perform together anymore. Lennon has her own music out.
As soon as Daphne grabbed the mic and sang the words “we have weathered through the storm”… I cry every single time. Such amazing acting and feels sooooo real. God I love music and I love the arts! You can tell this came from a real place!
I can't believe more people haven't flocked to RUclips to watch this scene again! It was so well done.
I've watched it like 20+ times, I ball my eyes out every time.
Because I just can’t, I keep ugly crying 😭
this still makes me cry every time i listen to it
TashaEllis me 2 aired on sky living last night I was emotional wreck needed tissues can't believe Rayna is gone😢 the scene when she was dieing broke my heart
Wife and I couldn't stop the tears. Holy hell this episode!..
TashaEllis same😢💕
sammeee
same
This scene broke me. It made me cry more than it did when she actually died 😢
I agree. Her death was awful -- especially after she'd been saved from the stalker -- but I bawled my head off during this one (and still do.) A friend of mine from out of state was visiting and watched with me. She'd never seen the show but was crying as hard as I was. We were like, "Deacon! Daphne! Get up there!"
My mom and I were a BAWLING mess during this scene. It started when Daphne started to sign 😪😪
@@raeanemessias8026 I started when Maddie started to sing again with then .
@@raynerdaye oh it definitely increased my she started singing again
Damn. This scene deserves an oscar.
I know Connie Britton is still alive
but the way they acted her death and tribute here...
makes me feel so sad...
it's like a part of the show DIED.
And this scene just shows the peak of Rayna's legacy in the show.
So emotional.
Brilliant acting.
God bless you all Nashville cast!
Man, when she turns around and can’t hold back the sadness and the tears… it makes me cry every time. This scene was so emotional. The break, the coming together, it was so touching. All in all, this was an amazing show. It’s too be it’s done.
No one can compete, because this is one of the most beautiful scenes in television history. Beautiful story telling.
This scene was so sad. I was crying watching it. R.I.P Rayna
nottie999. In real life she is not dead
nottie999 I cried the entire 9th and 10th episode....it was too sad
@@chadbarnett4049 thats why they said rip RAYNA not connie
My heart melts when Maisy starts singing its so beautiful
One of the best songs of the show. Such a tear jerker. Makes me cry every time I hear it but I love it
Same
I always cry 😂
Here in 2020, a month away from a year of my dad dying and haven't cried for a while. But watched this last night and bawled for a good hour, it touched me in a way I can't describe. Miss ya pa, nakupenda sana. - Thandi
💕💕💕
Daphne is so strong. Maddie gets the attention but Daphne pulls it off.
This is the most heart wrenching scene of the whole series. This song came on my google speaker the other day and I just stood their listening and bawling my eyes out 💔 gorgeous song and one of my most favorite shows ever ❤️
I never watched the show, but i've watched Lennon and Masie's videos since they were little and it's wonderful to see them become such great actresses and that the world got to see their beautiful voices
You gotta watch!
They did such amazing work on this show. Definitely watch if you can.
How can you see voices which is a sound? But seriously. Watch it
Did you watch it meanwhile? If not you missed the very best TV show ever......it's really great, emotional and dramatic.
Watch it. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD WATCH IT!!!
I've never watch an episode of this show, yet this video made me cry, as well.
Just watch it! It's amazing......
same
Same like I’m a sobbing mess
💜💜💜 Even though all 3 of them are so sad about losing their wife and mother, they still got through the song. And everyone loved it. 💜💜💜
"You can close your eyes you've done your best" that makes me cry a little
I can listen to the audio without sobbing as soon as I watch the clip from the show I ball like a baby. So sad, I miss rayna. I miss Nashville.
I miss Nashville too 😭
Krysta Milewski :(((((
I know this was a very very sad 😞 but very good acting i know that they only did the show for six years but I think they should bring it back into play again for the next chapter of the life’s of the girls since Maddie is in her own place and Daphne if she is continued in her music 🎼 and Maddie’s as well if there dad is going get married again now that he’s found love ❤️ also & if Scarlett is going to be having a boy or girl or Juliet And if Rayna’s girls get to have flashbacks being able to see their mother Like their dad did that would be very very special and if Scarlett will name her baby after Rayna if it’s a girl or if Juliet will or if her girls will if they have kids please please please bring back Nashville Please Please Please thanks 🙏🏽 ps the creator of the show probably won’t even read these messages RIP #RaynaJames connie Britton is such an amazing actress such a great role for her #Nashville4ever
I was such a mess watching this scene...don't think a TV death has ever hit me so hard. Beautiful scene, beautiful song, beautiful show
Best scene of the whole series
Everytime I watch this year's later they still make believe she really died in real life and was their legit mother. Because the tears and acting are so well done with the emotions coming through in the song too its a masterpiece. I will never be able to not cry watching this.
Me too!
Me too just so sad
I love Daphne so much. She is so cute. And the way deacon looks at her when she starts to sing.
Hey, how are you doing today?
@@danreynolds14 still miss Nashville, Charles. You all were once in a lifetime. I watch on Start TV. Thank you for the best show ever on tv.
@@cherixbiggs5819 oh yeah, thanks for the love and support always, I know you must be surprised to receive a private reply from me.
@@cherixbiggs5819 it’s definitely gonna be cool to know more about you as a consistent fan of mine, so where are you actually writing from now?
Maisy has an old soul , she is wise beyond her years .
Loved “Nashville” and the cast.. I still stream the show.. It was so wonderful. I really wish they would bring it back..
Here's the lyrics
Turn the light off, go to bed
Tell me all about the day you had
Lay beside me, it's time to rest
You can close your eyes, you've done your best
Let me be your sanctuary
Let me be your safe place to fall
I can take away your worries
The refuge from it all
All this time
We have together
Is our shelter from the rain
I will share the weight you carry
Let me be your sanctuary
We have weathered through the storms
Taking comfort in each other's arms
When the dark clouds come again
I will lift you up and take you in
Oh, this time
We have together
Is our shelter from the rain
I will share the weight you carry
Let me be your sanctuary
I will share this weight you carry
Let me be your sanctuary
Oh...what a heart-touching song it is!! I listen with tear..I feel their emotion...
I just can’t fucking watch this without tearing up
I’m crying more than the people that’s actually there. I have to remind my self it’s just a show. Love your voices Lennon, Maisy, and Charles
Yup, I cried, my 2 year old daughter cried , I tried to remind us it was just a show...very touching...and made me think about if I had to leave my kids. 😫🙄😭😞
Oh, get it together woman!!
It's really a testimony of the sheer perfection of the musical arrangement, the visuals, the timing in direction and editing, and of course the lovely vocals by everyone, because I've no idea of what this movie is, nor the context (it appears to be a tribute to, perhaps, their dead mother?) but I was affected by all of the above. That means everything was executed flawlessly. Bravo.
It's a TV series called nashville
Was a series called Nashville it was awesome!
This was one of the few songs I bought from the soundtrack. I stopped watching the show after Rayna died, but I legitimately listen to this song all the time to this day, six years later, sobbing every time.
Honestly this was one of the best shows on television i wished they would have kept it going for a few more seasons.
Let go, and in a few seconds, you'll forget it's only a tv show. They all are so prefectly real in their acting that I'm still right here in 2021 and I'm still crying for the xxxth time
If I don’t bawl my eyes out when I watch this, then my throat just slowly kills me while my eyes get very watery.
I will literally never get over this
I am literally Scarlet during this entire song
The tenderness and realness of this entire scene confounds me. The emotions from all of the actors, from Avery in the crowd to Lennon and Maisy's tears to Charles Esten's heartbreak and the way he supports the girls in an undermined harmony. "Daphne" got zero credit for saving "Maddie" while Maddie went to the interviews after this performance! But I love this scene. I'm a sobbing mess every time.
I miss this show. I think it’s awesome that a bunch of cast members are touring right now to sold out venues here and in England.
I know it's a show.. but I break down every time I see or hear this. Still don't understand how Rayna... your performance is so beautiful .. touches my heart every time ❤️😇😔🤧😘
Ditto
I watched this scene YEARS ago, and still I have that lump in my throat. Such a beautiful song. Such a powerful scene.
I binge watched the show for the first time in about a week until season 5 and here I am just after seeing this episode. My heart's in a million pieces, I haven't cried so much over a tv show in a long time. Cannot believe they had to do this. 💔💔💔
I love you Maisy - and i love you to Lennon & Charles
My heart melts when Maisy starts singing
I don't feel emotional watching movies but damn, the death of Rayna was something else. She was a mother to all. I need to hold back my tears
Jeez. Here I am in 2021 binging this series again, and this song... ugly crying, I am. Whew! What an amazing show. This episode just, wow.
It's been a year since Rayna & Deacon's love story ended and I"m still not over her dying! :'(
every time I hear this song I cry R.I.P Rayna James💔
I love everything about this series. It's so emotional and gripping. I've watched it 4 times and I kept crying. Every fate is so realistic and you can really empathize with every single character
I bawled during this scene!! Like seriously, I felt like her momma really passed!! And the end of the final episode… ugh. This show carved a place in my heart. ❤️❤️
my tears can't stop running
The girls lucky to have two great fathers.
This is my #1 show. I rewatch it once a year. It's like going home to visit family for the holidays.
Bawling like a baby over here 🙏🏼 it feeks like rhey were a real family. Such amazing acting
It never fails to give me chills when they all start singing together. I love them all. ♥️
This is the saddest episode of it all and it will forever be my favorite scene. This could break peoples heart for sure. If you see me ryt now, I'm a mess. I just can't stop playing it and crying, I really need a water prove phone ryt now.
I still cry to this scene as much as the first time I saw this . Beautiful moment. Lennon and Maisy did a great job singing this. This show deserved another season. ✨
I have binged watched the entire show an unhealthy amount of times lol. And I absolutely love this scene…
I ball my eyes out everytime I watch this. Every. Single. Time.
This series has some of the best songs ever. Just beautiful.
Who the hell is cutting the onions?! Every time. Can't help the tears. The acting is superb.
Such a beautiful blend. Oh my!
2 years later and I still sob every time I watch this scene. So realistic, what a great performance.
Why do I still cry at this in 2021 😭 This will never not hurt.. I couldn't watch past this episode I couldn't watch without Rayna 😫
Nope. Still can't get through this without crumbling. This show was exquisite perfection and I will miss it forever.
This makes me cry every time I watch it and listen to it. I just bought the song on my phone because it's so good!
strange. I get something in my eye every time I watch this...... 😢
I cried so much..
you were a very very special country singer and for your woundeful daughters and your husband rayna james i will always will remember you from my heart love you rayna james rest in peace lovely rayna james
The whole time surrounding these episodes was some of the most gut wrenching upsets I’ve ever had from a series. Man it is so good.
THIS SCENE ALWAYS BREAKS ME 😭😭 IM CRYING RN PLS
How is it possible for me to cry every single time! its not normal....
.....don't care about it. This TV show makes you feel being part of that Nashville family. It's really great, amazing, dramatic, overwhelming.......
I think this might be one of the saddest and most beautiful scenes, I always start to tear up
Leah Marlene just sang this on American Idol, had to watch the original again.
this scene was really around the time I felt Lennon voice hit me for the first time. The emotion in it is everything.
Every time… EVERY TIME I watch this… I CRY. I don’t when I’m listening & singing to the other tracks/videos of this song, but this one brings the waterworks IMMEDIATELY! 😭
I have never watched this scene without crying. I did a whole lot of ugly crying during the episodes around Rayna’s death.
Jesus, I am at work bawling watching this!
The way Deacon didn’t leave Daphne hanging and grabbed mics to bring the harmony, being their sanctuary and finishing the song with them when it was probably the last thing he wanted to do. They’re both his daughters because he loved Rayna so much.
this song always makes me cry and helps me with my Mom right now could use a lot of prayers for My Mom!!!!!
I’ll still go back and binge all seasons of this awesome show every now and then. This scene always gets me 😭 1:19 Scarlett in the audience just 💔
This makes me cry all so everytime I hear it remind me of my husband and I I lost him in 2010 December the love of my life
We should protest to bring Nashville back on for another season
Im getting married next year and we wanted to play a memorial song for my dad and his mom who have passed away. Does this song seem appropriate for something like that?
Most definitely very touching song!
yes. it’s perfect
Perfect. I always know that my parents are there if I need a “sanctuary”, and I could see no better song to honor them.
Sarah Maronde
This is a grt song
I think this song would be a perfect choice to honor your father.
Loved nashville ♥️
Lennon Stella and maisy Stella are good actresses..
And Charles esten good actor.... There very talented good singers... The song sanctuary. Is so good....
Such a powerful and emotional song....Lennon and Maisy.....You two are amazing!!!!!
I have ever cried so much while listening to a song. This song always makes me cry so much
This gets me every time 😭 Lennon has such a beautiful voice!
