Hey Gnome, I just started playing TCG Live and your video helped me get a better understanding of the roaring moon Ex deck! Appreciate the way you talk through your plays. Tried the free decks and roaring moon was the one that clicked the best for me since it has a sort of combo-esque feel to it. Having played a bunch of other CCGs, I was surprised how many cards/decks TCG live gives to new players right off the bat. Very fun game so far!
First off, welcome to the hobby! We are happy to have you and I’m happy you have been having a good time. And yes I agree PTCGL does have a pretty good free to play model in comparison to other games and that is something I always appreciate haha
My friend win local tournament with Gouging Fire turbo carry. The combo is Gouging fire ex, morpeko no cost retreat ability, and pecharunt ex. After you hit with Gouging fire 2nd attack move, next turn use pecharunt to move morpeko in active, and retreat morpeko to switch with Gouging fire
Interesting to see you choose to go first. I always try to go second with this deck but it's hard to recover when I can't the Sada and Dark Patch for that turn 1 attack. I can see how going first smooths out the setup a bit. Denying evolution decks that first turn could be beneficial too I suppose. My experience with Turbo Moon in the Dusknoir era has been rough. Using Frenzied Gouging leaves you wide open for your opponent to pop a Dusclops/Dusknoir on the damaged Moon and take a 4 prize turn.
ya with dusknoir bring so common this deck has suffered a bit for sure because of how hard it counters RM but I think this deck can still preform in the upcoming meta that is going to be focused on big basic mons
# Giveaway Aerodactyl ex would be cool its prolly going to be out sometime in the future i know it has v star and v idk what other pokemon i would like to see as an ex pokemon i forgot what i wanted as an ex
I think it's possible but you don't want to give up too many prize cards as frenzies damage almost guarantees a ko on opponents turn, i think bolt gets away with it as theres no guarantee that a ko will be taken on the bolt.
Or just taking something out like a pidgey or any basic one for one just for the disruption. Say they put a mimikyu in the active or just blow up there dusklops ect.

Funny watching the first guy's reactions the whole time and then just the single thumbs up to close him out
got to love it haha
I'm a simple man. I see a genuine personality and that's enough for me. Subbed and excited to collab one day 💪🏽
Thanks I appreciate it!

@@professorgnome im lame haha XD
@@namefirst6835 Not at all haha
No way to squeez in a duskclops like some raging bolts are?
Night Stretcher works so well with pokestop

You could but I wouldnt recommend it since your already getting the K.O every time anyway that the extra damage isnt worth giving up the prize cards
@@professorgnome unless you plan to use calamity storm to do 50 damage to a pokemon 230-270 to bring it in range?
130 to a zard?
