I'm currently using it in mew and it's working out but I can agree it has a harder time when your opponents are better and know what to target and how to counter the deck more frequently

So i have not tried scream tail ex but i did try salvatore and more often then not it was better to just have draw supports then salvatore but i think scream tail ex could be interesting

Ya it's not my favorite deck to play but I'm happy it's in the game since I think it makes a healthy meta game and also I like snorlax haha

So I can't do that one next since I haven't played the deck at all, so I wouldn't want to put on content on a deck I know nothing about. But I will start practicing with it and make sure the video is put on the schedule for later on this week!

Ya that's part of why I still like having mantine in the deck, since vs Raging bolt you can use it to trap a sqak or fill the board with exs then use a mimikyu since they have no real outs but I can agree the match ups can be harder now then before

Play faster than them and hope they price their Cylene and Yell's cheer and you don't. Also drop Chi-Yu asap so you can start milling things from early. Some versions do not run Erika's so their only way to gust your Chi-Yu out is by Bossing you and they do not tend to run more than two of those, if you mill their pads and/or some of their looping supporters they'll scoop right away. And if they also lead off with Chi-Yu... good luck, at that point it comes down to who has the best luck at dodging bad mills lol.

It's close to yours, but I decided to remove Mantine and Sandshrew and opt for other cards. IRL i am not facing many Lugia decks

@@Pidgey95 makes sense it seems like the list is pretty good, I personally like having the mantine, as for the mirror your really just trying to use chi yu ex as much as possible with miss fortune sisters to get them to deck out first since both players will not really be aiming to take knock outs, so just set up one chi yu so it can't be bossed around and start discarding 2 from the top

Ya they made a lot of mistakes for sure

That's why you play Goldeen to guarantee a festival lead Pokémon each turn. Also, not sure why they were running dragon applin instead of grass applin. That hurts consistency with bug-catching set. They had a good starting hand (fortunately for them), but I imagine they brick some.

Ya it's better in festival grounds and also I think it makes your lugia match up much better because if you can get out 2 frosslass, your able to snipe out both arch and it makes the game super easy from there

Ya I like pidgeot ex in the deck but i know a lot of people like the froslass build as well so i wanted to cover it since it was something i kinda forgot about. And i still think its a good deck so i wanted to give it some love haha

I for some reason couldnt get aromage out of my head ( Yugioh deck) and im dyslexic so i just read it that way. I didnt even notice i was doing it till i went back and was editing it and as like " What am i doing." haha

All my content is in standard format. This deck does work in the current format but it can have some bad match ups. Overall it's a fun deck more so then a hyper competitive one but it can still do very well

No worries, so i think greninja ex is a solid deck and could for sure make the honorable mentions list, i just feel its still pretty under represented so it doesnt have the results right now to make the cut. Also i think its pretty safe to say lugia is a top 5 deck in the meta, because yes its future box match up can be a little rough but that is not being used that much, and even with that being a bad match up, it has a good match up into all the other top decks so you would have to rank it higher. Since you have to rank VS the filed not an independent match up. As for miraidon ex the reason i put it on the list is because it has been getting results and slowly gaining popularity right now because of its match up spread into the most popular decks. Its match up vs something like greninja isnt great but you will run into that match up less in tournament compared to gardi,lugia and pult.

Ah ok I jumped the gun a bit, your thinking from a tournament perspective. I was thinking more just like general ladder perspective. Then yea for sure you will see those decks in tourneys as they are super solid and well battle tested. Tourneys also are such a different world from the ladder.

@@christobonbanana ya irl events or even online events are very different then regular ladder, since you have to consider how your deck will do in best of 3 formats as well.

ya for sure I think miraidon has some bad match ups that are outside of the top 5 but I still think because of how well it can play into the most popular decks it can do rather well. So i feel it deserves a spot as an honorable mention

ya when i first made the deck i also had entei since it let me use seal stone and have an early attacker but i found the armarouge just being useful more often, Raifort is something i forgot about that could actually be really good! so ill have to give that a try!

ya i think codebreaker is better right now, since it does the same thing and also is useful along side your other draw options. but if your not attacking team star grunt is kinda dead. but when the new stadium comes out, then grunt may be better.

New Stadium + Team Star Grunt in the same turn is gonna mean that Magcargo will have a much easier time OHKOing anything. In such a case, I’d argue Secret Box is a top Ace Spec for it, allowing it to get the Stadium and Grunt on demand.
