I was there! My respect for Method Man skyrocketed after this show. He was on fire all night, dancing, laughing, interacting with the crowd. During the breaks inbetween songs he would run to the back off stage to what I thought was having a drink or a smoke. Nah - Method was sick as a dog all night. He was running backstage to vomit in a bucket then run back out to perform. Honestly if it wasn't for him the show would have been relatively boring, but he brought it in a big way. He even said towards the end of the show that he wasn't feeling right and would normally end the show at that point, but they kept going for a few more songs. A true showman - respect
I mean just watching this video i can tell most are barely Even trying meanwhile Method is all over the place.
Still remember when there were mef&red in czech republic on hiphop kemp and there were a problem with microphones for a 5-10 minutes. Some other "big stars" may be upset and leaving the stage, but they were doing so much fun with the crowd jumping flips into the crowd, throwing those big letter MEF RED they had in the back of the stage and it was truly incredible. The best show I witnessed in my life

And they are still together after more than 25 years on a scene, all 9 are succesful, one played in many films and tv, one had lectures at university and one is a soundtrack composer for action films. Thats the power of the wu. Thats something we dream about everyday but just a few will get there.

@@tomessmith911 i know but autotune has nothing to do with that, it just makes your voice sound different. It's not an upgrade or anything like that (except if you can't hear the autotune, then it's used to correct the singer's pitch, but otherwise it's just for artistical reasons and that's just a thing of taste, not skill)

Just watched the Netflix documentary “hiphop evolution” and I fell in love with this group. Even though they are from the small island of new york they still found ways to become successful. Straight up geniuses. Love from the Philippines!
They are from Statten Island which is part of New York City, meaning it's the easiest place to become a rapper LOL!

Listening to his albums nowadays it appears he lost some of his voice from doing shows or something of the sort..... My friend who knows him via his sister said his voice is shot nowadays and that is how he sounds all the time.

GZA is one of my favourite MC’s, but his Sydney concert was really bad. He showed up 2 hrs late and ridiculously drunk. So much so that he couldn’t even finish his lines. If it wasn’t for Killah Priest there would have been no show.
