This 78rpm record was a gift I received one Christmas. I am presenting this sprightly Mazurka as a holiday greeting to my RUclips friends and subscribers. Thank you all for your support, and best wishes for a healthy and happy New Year!
The illustration of the Mushroom Children (die Glückspilzkinder) is from an old postcard (c. 1910) entitled "Prosit Neujahr," that was pasted onto a menu for a Silvester-Feier (New Year's Eve) dinner in 1925 at the Hotel Bellevue in Dresden.
