I love the mission and I love seeing the evolution of the channel! You guys are really finding your own way that exists outside of just "man on the street interviews"

Love this. One thing - the updated graph of Population density vs Anonymity, you're updated curve shows reduced population density with the same anonymity. Curve needs to be on the left of the original - going high on the population density scale but not as high on the anonymity scale!
    Love your work

Love the mission! Reminds of the values of New York Public Radio’s values. Though the medium is different, the stories are different, there’s a common thread which is the bond bond every New Yorker has by living there. Looking forward to seeing more content that is address your mission.

In life in general, life is so much easier once you figure out your own ‘why’. Good luck with the new project.
It’ll do well now that you know where you’re going with it.

💚 Introducing small businesses was good (in your other channel). Restaurants, bars, cobblers, barbers, coffee shops, dressmakers, various artisans... lot of interesting people... Good subject and nice advertising for them.

I had to leave NY bc of a job… watching these videos always give me a slice of home while I’m on the West Coast. Indeed, the myth of New Yorkers as rude is a pervasive one especially in middle America but what I find that New Yorkers lack in the niceness category they more than make up for in kindness. Love the content this page produces.

I just want to remind you guys. This stage is EXACTLY Colin and samir channel was a few years ago. They took forever to get to 20k. Relatively shorter to 200k and the rest was history. Keep going. I know it’s hard. (You guys already have 40k. You guys did the hardest part already)

Very nice, but I will say I've only been to NYC once in my life and had a subway attendant in a very thick NY accent say to me when I was asking for directions "YOU TAKE THE SAME TRAIN YOU ALWAYS TAKE!!!" - Best part of my trip and I'll never forget it.

The stereotype is a lie; New Yorkers aren't rude. They aren't likely to smile or greet a rando walking by, but that doesn't mean they're rude. If you ask a New Yorker for something (directions, recommendations, a hand, etc.) you're likely to get it. I met many, many friendly strangers during my years there.

I don't know, I think that the stereotype of New Yorkers being rude is a bit exaggerated. As long as you're not trying to take their money or get into their pants, and you don't come off as such, they've always seemed pretty open to conversation to me (not a native New Yorker, but I lived there for about four years in the late 1990s). Perhaps the stereotype of New Yorkers being rude is because, if anything, they are *extra* willing to speak their mind - in no uncertain terms.
