What if you was brainwashed and coerced to marry the foreign spouse believing that the Marriage was real?

Is it possible to have the interviewer request their phone, text, WhatsApp, etc. messages beforehand to help determine the validity of the marriage at the interview? I’m starting to notice weird behaviors that is giving me reservations. My interview is May 24 and I’m starting to have reservations the closer that day comes.

Hello. First of all, since you are applying to obtain adjustment of status, it is your burden to prove that you qualify. Assuming it is a marriage petition, the bona fides of the marriage petition are highly relevant. The officer has every right to ask for these items. If you have questions about this, you should retain an attorney to go with you during the interview. If they are already asking for this, there must be some kind of flag regarding the bona fides of the petition. You can give my office a call at 562-495-0554.

The person i brought on k1 visa and married had been lying to me. He now has a passport. Soon as he got his citizenship basically abandoned the marriage. He is now back in his country spending time with his child that he had kept a secret from me and uscis. He’s also with the child’s mother. I found out thru social media. We’re still married but when I found out I filed for divorce. He’s been spending time there since end of November 2023. He has done a lot more to me. Took all my money saying we’re going to build a home where he’s from but I found out he was supporting his secret family. He manipulated me so bad I completely trusted him until too late. There are so much more he did. What do I do now?
