Waldmeister or in english Woodruff is a type of bedstraw. It is very popular here and for some inexplicable reason even developed into a kind of “national flavor”. It's a taste that you can't really describe, but is somehow delicious. By the way, you can also simply “eat” the Ahoi Brause by tipping it onto your tongue. Fun fact about Hitschies it used to be called Hitschler, well I don't think I need to explain why it was renamed, but the company wanted to sell better internationally, that would definitely have been difficult with the name. Knopers is excellent when it comes out of the fridge, the waffle is still crispy, but the rest is even crispier. Well, someone forgot to send a variety of Kinderschokolade (chocolate company, I know there some products in the US but I heard from time to time that is taste a bit different to ours available here in germany), which is always very popular and always very high up on everyone's ranking.
Kudos for including East German sweets as well! As a kid growing up in GDR Bambina (the two flavours you have are quite new versions of the original one which is just regular brown milk chocolate filled with a lovely milky core) and Knusperflocken were my favourites. Nowadays I also love Knoppers. And anything from Haribo is always great.
Ok so I can’t take how bloody cute you two are together! I could watch you two all day 😄 I’d send you food from Scotland but I know you guys already tried some in another video. Love you guys ❤
As a German living in the US I approve this selection. The drink mix we just used to put on our tongue as kids and enjoyed the fizz. My favorite flavor is the green one (Woodruff). BTW Aldi sells Knoppers in the US as well. The Fisherman’s friend - definitely an acquired taste, but one of the many concoctions I was given when I had a cough. That and so many herbal teas my mom kept around the house.
It might be interesting for you guys to know that the manufacturer of the Knusperflocken by the name of Zetti was the main (if not the only) manufacturer of sweets in the former GDR and that Knusperflocken have been around since long before the Berlin wall came down. They are quite a piece of Germany's history.
I can confirm Knoppers tastes quite like Nutella because there's hazelnut cream in it. it's lots of flavours at once. milky, hazelnutty, crunchy and chocolatey all at once. I love it

Jack is a star! 🥰
I think whoever sent these sweets comes from the eastern part of Germany because Bambina and Knusperflocken are from Eastern Germany and not well known/liked in the western parts.
it's so fun to watch as a german. handsome family, good work. keep on doing!❤
*Someone should send them some Austrian chocolate!* The "Handgeschöpfte Schokoladen" (Handmade Cholates) by Zotter are outstanding. They come in so many crazy flavours, like "Amalfi lemon and Sage marzipan", "Algae, Caramel, Pineapple" or "Cheese + Mango-Chutney". They have loads of more ordinary varieties too and they are fantastic! My favourites are “Toffee Coffee”, "Tausend Blätternougat" (Thousand Layers Nougat) and "Orange Liquor".
The schokakola was very popular in the past, my grandfather loved them back in his Wehrmacht days.👍
Sarge Butterworth has a new vid? My evening is saved!
Based on Tyler's giggle, I knew Fisherman's Friend wasn't going to be Jack's fav.... i just want to know why you're trying to pass off a "Throat Lozenge" that "combats coughs, colds, sore throat and sniffles" as a MINT?! 😂
I had to pause when I saw you claiming it was a mint, just to make sure it was what I thought it was. Oh my, let's see how this plays out...
What an adorable Son-Dad-Team 😍
"Theres Caffeine in it, its ok just dont tell your mother"
O.G dad move
Just fills my heart to see some forigners enjoing our snacks
Btw, you don‘t pronouce it like in English „Knopers“ it is like „K“ and then nopers🤗
„Waldmeister“ is like a mix of diffrent fruits found in forests. Wald = Forest. It is quite liked.
I had to wait a long time for the final boss, Fisherman's Friend
hi. german here. i looooove how you say "knusper flocken" :D we do pronounce the k here and the ck is harsh as in pack. and it means crunchy flakes^^
Ok so I can’t take how bloody cute you two are together! I could watch you two all day 😄 I’d send you food from Scotland but I know you guys already tried some in another video. Love you guys ❤
We just tried more candy from Scotland the other day! Will upload soon. Scottish Tablet!
Aye, we all have pure sugar running through our veins! 😂
Ihr seid so süß, und ihr seid Euch so ähnlich. In Deutschland sagt man dazu: "Wie Arsch auf Eimer!".🥰
You’re all “Perfect”❤️
Totally found the fizzy drink packets online and had to get them to try. PERFECT! 👌🏻
That was lovely to watch. I enjoyed watching your relationship with your lad. Try Great Britain sweets next?
I love all these videos where he tries MRI or food from other countries 😁 Knoppers are 🔥 and there are many more german treats to try
Jack's laughter is so amazing 😊
Awesome video! What a great duo! More videos please : ) Try Greece!
It might be interesting for you guys to know that the manufacturer of the Knusperflocken by the name of Zetti was the main (if not the only) manufacturer of sweets in the former GDR and that Knusperflocken have been around since long before the Berlin wall came down. They are quite a piece of Germany's history.
You guys are amazing. I love your videos and TikTok clips so much ❤
I can confirm Knoppers tastes quite like Nutella because there's hazelnut cream in it. it's lots of flavours at once. milky, hazelnutty, crunchy and chocolatey all at once. I love it
