I just purchased the 2024 GMC AT4 and the price wasn’t bad it compared here easily to the LT trail boss. But the AT4 looks more luxurious and has a few more options like ventilated seats rear heated seats power steering column adjuster driver seat memory for 2 drivers etc. the price wise was the better option on the AT4. Also I should mention I had the 2023 trail boss and it doesn’t compare driving wise to the AT4 with the 6.2L V8.
I went to a dealership saw a Trail boss. Was nice even went inside. The price was 58k then it jumped to 61k before there dealership add ons. Told him I could do it for 60k max. I guess all wait for that end of year deals.
I have a 2020 3500HD AT4 w/L5P Duramax, and was looking for another in half ton, to no avail, BUT, what I did find was a 2024 Silverado 1500 LT Trail Boss with the LZ0 baby Duramax, bought it on the spot, and haven't looked back...
You're spot on, the GMC IS more "luxurious", but it's also a higher package then the Trail Boss... In the past 4-5yrs, GMC's have become GM's premier brand, with Chevrolet taking a backseat to them... I have one of each(2020 GMC 3500HD AT4, 2024 Silverado 1500 LT Trail Boss), so I speak with 100% unbiased honesty...
You should a comparison between these two but use a 1500 with the 6.2, kinda hard to show the similarities when you've got such different trim levels side by side
Just just this same speck 24 AT4. I’m biased but the GMC looks better inside and out. Both amazing trucks tho. I’m not sure if this was a mistake but there is no way in heck the 5.3 is towing more than the 6.2 with the same suspension setups. I’ve owned a 5.3 before my current 6.2 and I can say there is a very noticeable difference
Tow ratings are based on more than just horsepower. It has to do with gvwr. Gvwr is the weight of the truck combined with the trailer. In this configuration that tells me the Chevy weighs less than the gmc
There are very minor differences in these 2 trucks. Like they have different engines. Different dash. Different tailgates. The tech package includes a hud on the gmc. I don’t know if you can get the hud or the rear heated seats on the Chevy. AT4 has the carbon edition that is not available on the Chevy. The Chevy you can get 18 inch wheels, the at4 you have 20s. There is a sticker on the chevy’s box and a black strip on the hood. I don’t think they can be optioned identically but I think you can get them close, but gm made sure they had some minor differences. More lipstick on the pig with the at4 for sure. Buy what you like if you have the cash the AT4 isn’t that much more than a similarly optioned trail boss, and tries to sprinkle in a bit more for it though they do charge a little for all those badges on the AT4.
"you're probably never going to use it anyway" on both the sliding rear window & the sunroof ... you are CLEARLY not a truck guy. Have had both on my last 4 trucks & used them almost every day; including winter. I actually refused to buy both the Titan & the Tundra because you could not spec even their top of the line models with either option. Real truck guys have enjoyed rear sliding windows since the early 80's for the recirculation. I had to shut off your vid you came off so out of touch on those comments.
The Trail Boss Can Tow More Than The AT4 9200 Pounds Versus 9000 Pounds Both Of Them Are Minimum Trailering Package Because Those Off-Roaders Doesn't Have Maximum Trailering Package Which Makes A Truck Goes Faster You Gotta Loved That. The AT4's Interior Is More Greater Than The LT Trail Boss Because It Has Brown And Black 🖤 Interior In It Both Of Them Has Steps And I Loved The Multi-Flex Tailgate Plus The 6.2L V8 With A 10 Speed Automatic Transmission The King Of Engines.
I have a 2017 LT Chevy Silverado 1500 z71 and been looking to upgrade love my truck but dam still got 26k too pay off been putting 1300 a month too pay my baby off as soon as possible so I can get a gmc at4. I drove one and it felt like a way better truck
@@Invisible1900 $62,500. My brother in law works at a Chevy dealership. I even sent him a pic of their sales price on the trail boss compared the GMC. Loving the GMC so far it’s 🔥🔥🔥 looks like now they have a rebate for being a Costco member extra $1K off at gmc.
@@Invisible1900$62K MSRP was $74K. GMC way more superior compared to the 19 Silverado I had. I actually missed out on another $1K off for a Costco rebate 😢
"Both of these truck are pretty much exactly the same, but they have some major differences on the outside, the inside and on the power train". WTF kind of comment is this?? lol

right, HUGE difference between the 5.3 and 6.2
I have the 2024 at4 and it’s my first truck lol, I love it
Dude all your little jokes in between killed me 😂
Haha thanks!

The Trailboss IMO looks much nicer but the AT4 can be a little more luxurious. I got a 2024 Trailboss with the 3.0L Duramax and I love it
Well done comparison, sir. Kept it straight to the point and easy to follow along with. Probably would hit the AT4.
Thank you! Good choice

The AT4 Looks more luxurious but the Trail boss looks more aggressive 🔥. Both are beautiful trucks.

Currently have 20 trailboss, looking to buy 24 AT4 with 3.0 diesel.

i noticed you ignored the addendum price sheet. Why?
Irrelevant to what comes with the vehicle from the factory
@@YTJoshuaMcDonald if it were irrelevant it wouldn't be on the car

Why would the 5.3 'last longer"
Is the colour on both Slate Grey?
It is!
The window stickers he showed said "Thunderstorm Gray".
Love this one!
The interior screen lay out is different between the two truck
No cold start ??

Cool story bro
Really wish the trail boss had a vented seats upgrade

I just got the AT4 🔥 the MSRP was more on my truck but the actual sales price was the same as the trail boss 🤔 guess GMC had better rebates.
How much you get it for?

Çok güzel video olmuş
Başarılar diliyorum 🎉🎉🎉
ONe difference in trading in, chevy vs gmc loyalty extra trade in value.
Sierra has front memory seat, and back seats are heated, also the tailgate is different. I’ll still take the Chevy.

A factual statement
Ill take the Chevy same truck a hell of a lot cheaper.
The gm equivalent of the silverado z71 trail boss is the x31 elevation sierra
Wrong.
Great jokes sprinkled in throughout the review. Hilarious
Thank you!
$72,000 for a midsize truck unbelievable
Not midsize trucks, but yeah all full size trucks these days are crazy expensive
Personally, I'd buy the GMC! The Chevy looks cheap, IMHO....
Silverado is so ugly. The front doesn’t flow to the back like two different trucks put together
Stupid jokes.
Thanks!
