- Gov. Sanders explained the features of the $19K lectern that was purchased by her office as well as why she didn't use it for a press conference on Oct. 17.
She doesn’t have it because she spent it on a party in France
One question: Why isn't she (or any of them) lecturing us from said lecturn since its special features were so necessary?
She didn’t want the podium to be a distraction from her many lies.
Because then people can take more pictures of it and pick apart the BS.

But it sounds like $19,000 is likely the most money ever spent on a single lectern in the history of the world. From what I've gathered, a top-of-the-line lectern from the real Falcon company actually costs less than half what Sanders office paid for theirs. So, if Falcon produces premium lecterns and their most-premium model sells for about $7500, wouldn't that make Sanders' lectern possibly the most expensive ever? It better have motifs with gold leaf inlays for that amount of money.

I've unfortunately been to Arkansas and I'm pretty sure the entire state's infrastructure bill is less than $19,000.
So who authorized the payment? It's the tax payers money, not only paying for the podium but the salary of the person who authorized the payment. The tax payers have the legal and moral right to know. Now that Sanders has been sued to release this information, she has no choice but to disclose this information. Good for whoever is suing for this disclosure.
