Watching videos from approximately a decade ago one realizes what has been lost : Back then this region (and others of course) was irrigated with abundant water. Part of the beauty of landscapes is almost lost.
When I visited Tryavna I was actually wondering how would that place look if the river had more water. The town itself, though, is very charming. I liked it a lot.
