Giant schnauzers have been my favorite with Great Danes as my second!! I’ve had both and loved them very much!!
We have a Morkie named Mimzy who was given to me at 6 months; she’s 6 now. Her fur doesn’t get much longer than an inch so there’s not much to do style-wise. I’m a bit baffled by the short hair, but it doesn’t detract from her cuteness. Our other dog is a female Australian Shepherd named Mavis who just had her first birthday. She is my son’s dog. She is a nutcase to be around, always wants to play, and is very intelligent. She has never been to a groomer. We recently invested in a grooming table so it is easier to keep her feet groomed and brush her out, and we are going to start trimming her up one area at a time until we are at the point where we can groom her all in one setting. A place in town just put in a DIY bathing station for dogs, and I’m super happy about that. The cost is just $19.95, and all the shampoos, conditioners, grooming supplies, etc. are free. Each bathing station has an attached table with a blow dryer. I planned on taking Mavis in for a shampoo this week but as our luck would have it, she just began her first heat so a trip to the bath house will have to wait. I dread having to clip her back end and curtains while she’s in heat, but she’s got so much long fur in the area it’s hard for her to keep the area clean. I can get her somewhat cleaned off with a damp towel, but she really, really, really needs a bath!
If I was to get another dog I would want a German Shepherd, possibly another Aussie, I don’t have to worry about it though because I can’t afford another dog. Vet care hasn’t been too much. I take them in for a yearly exam. They’re fed a healthy diet, not raw, but close. We also have a cat who is 14 or 15 yrs old, still perky though. If conditions were right, I would just like to have a larger dog that I could go on long walks with and take with me on road trips for companionship and also a bit of security. My son does help out with his Aussie’s expenses but until he can pay 100% I won’t be getting another dog. That’s okay though, I’m good with what I’ve already got. I’ll be 67 next week, and they are more than enough to keep me busy.
I love watching your videos. I watch a few Aussie channels in order to learn more about their grooming and training, but your channel is the one I always watch when I just want to pass the time like I would with a good friend. I learn a lot from you and often will zoom in to get a closer look at how you are doing something. It’s good that you keep busy and enjoy your work, but I hope that you also take time out for yourself and get to relax.
Well, it’s time to take my girls out one last time, give them a treat, and get them to bed. Love what you do, take care of yourself!

When I was growing up we had a smooth collie but I am retires and can not afford another pet. I like the way you groom. ❤😊

I have Cavalier King Charles dogs I had two but lost one on feb 1st age 13 yrs we Robbie’s ashes so he came home. And to add he was my son’s care dog my son has autism and boy he was a different child!! And I agree with your early groomers we used ro say who’s going to auntie Heidi tomorrow for a spa day, the next day they Hebert said bye mum they could wait, and that was from 6 weeks every 8 weeks. So please listen to your groomer and remember it’s up to you to make the appointment not the groomers job. You have an obligation to your dog.
I groomed an 100lb yellow lab today that behaved just like that in the bath. Good times.

My favorite small dog is a Shih Tzu my favorite large dog is a Lab or Rottweiler. Currently we have a 6.5 pound Shih Tzu and a 130 pound Rottweiler. Both males. We love them both dearly. 💙💙

Growing up I had an English Springer Spaniel who was a retired show dog. I would love to have her back. She was just the best. I would get another Springer Spaniel in a heartbeat.

I just got a Great Pyrenees German Shepherd mix and I love the mix! I had one for 14 years before ❤ I'm already getting him used to the grooming at home because that's my plan for him for the rest of his life ❤
I have had a Doberman, German Shepherd and Sheltie in the past. I would pick anyone of those again. Also like Toy Poodle and Chihuahua and Mutts.

Before watching your videos I would have said a golden doodle (lab poodle mix). Now it would be a golden retriever from an ethical breeder, or a rescue. The pup you’re doing is absolutely adorable even though a bit reactive.❤

My all time favourite breed has always been border collies I have owned 5 in my lifetime the one I currently have is a rescue from an abuse situation. I also have a rescue Labrador and a chihuahua and Lhasa apso.

Um, I've noticed sometimes the long hair on the paws gets pulled out by the dremal's rotation. Perhaps that adds to the reaction, the hairs being accidentally pulled out here and there. It's definitely not going to stop the puppy being reactive altogether and I'm sure you don't do it on purpose. But puppy paws are so sensitive already that might add to the issue.
Golden Husky mix.
The only dog I fell in love with. Well behaved, protective of the kids, playful but bot hurtful, no whining and screaming. Easily trained.
I LOVE bulldogs, but they shed and have so many health issues I would probably say a doodle of some kind.
